Hi, It's me Yasuko from EDC1.

I'll book review 2 "on the beach". It was written by Nevil Shute, 1957. Main thema of this novel is nuclear.

Nuclear was has destroyed all life in the northern countries of the world. Now the deadly radiation is travelling south. In Australia, where people are still alive, Peter and Mary Holmes are tryng to live their lives as normally as possible as the radiation comes closer and closer.

Of course, this is the novel so fiction. However, the end of the world like a this book will come on someday because of nuclear. Also, nuclear brokes not only our life, but also brings radiation. Radiation isn't good for people as you know. But, America and other countries continue the test of nuclear.

In this year, the US president Obama says "armaments reduction of nuclear". So many people think about nuclear. However, it is thinking difference about nuclear btween Japanese and American. I think that goverment creates chance to discuss by each country people. I wanna hear thiking about nuclear of other countries young people. How do you think nuclear? Let's discuss next class!
