Class reunion

We hold a class reunion at 16th. About half of the menber was gathered.
We enjoyed Indian food. It was delicious.
I hadn't met most of the member since we graduated high school , so I had a lively conversation!
The next chance we will gather is confirmation at June.
I can't wait that day!!

New Chinese Friends

Hi!
This is ASAE from EDC1 class.
Today, I had to say "Goodbye" to my chinese friends.

From May, I joined in a program "Wing of Fuji Global Leader-Ship Semminer".

This program has some opportunity to communicate with Chinese.
I had my host sister and she stayed in my house.

Today we went to "BANDAI", which is very famous company because of GUNDAM!!

GUNDAM is very nice Japanese animation! I like it.

In this company, we learned high technology which is special of this company.

I also had chances to debate with chinese about our culture, global issues and history.

I realized that I'm so immature and I was so susceptible to the media broadcasting.
This opportunity to ask real information is so important for me.

Anyway, I had very meaningful time!!

Book Review

Hi! This is Sayaka from EDC1.
How is your summer vacation?

I have read a book, “Through the looking-glass”. It’s level3. This book was written by Lewis Carroll. He wrote “Alice's Adventures in Wonderland” too.
I want to tell you about this story.

A heroine of this story is Alice, of course! Next the Wonderland, She gets through the glass. It’s the world of chess there. Alice advances the squares to get to the Eighth Square. In Eighth Square, she can become a White Queen. Alice meets some characters until she becomes a Queen. They are Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Humpty Dumpty and the Lion and the Unicorn and so on. At the end, Alice becomes a White Queen! But nice dream doesn’t continue, and she wakes up.

This story is a little hard for the person who doesn’t know the game of chess. I read this with difficulty. But this is nice story! I recommend you.

Nagano

Hi, everyone! I'm Yumika from EDC3. Can you believe that already it's the end of August? Wow, time goes by so fast!
I am busy everyday because my internship just has started. I learn lot's of new things everyday and meet many people from various countries. It's busy but so much fun and exciting.

Today, Ill show you the photos of my trip to Nagano. I went to Nagano first time. Nagano was really nice place. I went there with my old friends by train. It took us 5 hours to get to Nagano. I was so tired, but I could see beautiful scenery from the train window. We ate famous foods in Nagano like Soba and Oyaki. They were so delicious. On the second day, We ride hot air balloon! It was soooo much fun:)
After that we went to see Matsumoto-jo. Matsumot-jo is one of the national treasures.
We can see the history in the castle.
I had a great time in Nagano with my friends.

In Sapporo

Hello everyone. I'm Miharu from EDC3.

Today I went to Sapporo in Hokkaido to meet my friends.

They are same high school as me but I didn't meet them for 2 years.

I surprised because their are no change from 2 years ago.

I was so happy about that.

We went to lunch and talked many things, about university, future and so on.

One of my friend live in Sapporo so we went to her house after lunch.

We just talked many things but I could really relax.

Today I really enjoy the time.

Cycling at Tohoku

Hello, everyone! I'm Shizuka from EDC 1.
I can't belive the half of summer vacaion has already passed!
Do you enjoy summer vacation?

I want to talk about group activity.
We went to Tohoku for cycling at 20th-27th. We traveled from Morioka to Sendai.
It was not so easy to run long distance, but I got sence of achievement and lots of memory.

Kesennuma was one of the most beautiful view I saw during the tour.
There are lots of swana and other animnals.
Cyuusonnji was also great. We can see Konjikidou there only 800-yen!
I would like to visit Tohoku again!

Book Review "Women in Business"

Hello everyone. This is Yuka from EDC 1. I post a first book review.
In this summer, I read the book called “Women in Business” written by David Evans. First, I noticed the book cover with Madonna. She is very famous women in the world. This book tell us five successful women; Coco Chanel, Hanae Mori, Anita Roddick, Oprah Winfrey and Madonna. All stories are fact. I would talk about Coco Chanel’s story. She said, “Fashion is not just about dresses; fashion is something in the air. Fashion is in the sky, the street. Fashion is about ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”
Originally, she worked for a nightclub as a singer and got a chance in there. She met a rich man and borrowed much money to open a shop in Paris. She changed the idea and made new style of fashion. For example, Coco’s skirts were much shorter than dresses women wore so that they work easily. She hoped clothes that allowed women to move around freely. After that, her business grew and grew. Coco’s perfume, jewelry and simple suit were popular. In her life, she got chances thanks of meeting people.

I spent good time in china with them.
I went to many places.

On week day, I studied Chinese.
Our teacher is Chinese and cannot speak Japanese,
so she teach us in English.
I noticed the importance of English again!

This movie was filmed at Italy.
I can see scenery and tourist attraction of Italy.
This movie's story is exciting, but I was attracted by a beautiful piece of scenery of Italy.
I want to go to Italy and see a lot of beautiful places.
This movie can enjoy story and Italy.

Today is last day of August. Tomorrow is September!
I feel the time passed so fast.

Homecoming

Hello, everyone. This is Miho from EDC1.
Do you enjoy your summer vacation?

On August24, I returned home after an interval of three months.
My brothers were picked me up at the station. I had a dinner which my mother cooked. with my family.It was delicious and this time was happy.

On August25, I met old friend. We have known each other since elementary school.
We enjoyed talking each other. We were talked about school life and so on.
Next we took "Prikura" and go to karaoke.
I was very fun and I want to meet old friend again.

On August26, I went to Kakegawa by car alone. I haven't driven a car long time. So I was nervous.
In Kakegawa, I enjoyed shopping. I bought some clothes.

On August30, I am twenty years old. So I went to election for the first time. I got confused because I didn't know how to elect. But I did your best.

Today, I came back to Hamamatsu and I went to Sanstreet Hamakita and Preha walk hamakita with my mother. I bought bag. Next I had a lunch in Sawayaka. I ate genkotsu hamburger steak.
It is so juicy and delicious. I like it very much.

I spend wonderful time. Have a great summer vacation.

Meeting with my old friends

I met 4 old friends in summer vacation.

They have known each other since kindergarden, so 15 years!
Even though long long years have passed, everyone change nothing :)

They are all universery students and out of Shizuoka.
Therefore I took my university and a rooftop.

They were surprised with looking a view from my university.

My Tokyo trip

Hi, this is Sayaka from EDC1.
Do you have a good summer vacation?

I went to Tokyo with my family.

I had wanted to go Shibuya and harajyuku for a long time.

At first, we went hotel near Tokyo station.
However, my family did not want to go there because they were tired with long riding a express.
Therefore, I went Shibuya alone from hotel.

Second, I got on a Yamanote line from Tokyo station.
To my surprise, there are one train in 3 minites!
In my local, Iwata, if I miss a train, I must wait 20 minutes for next train.
Tokyo's train is wonderful!

Arrived Shibuya, I went to 109 and center street.
There are a so many people!
Iwata has also scramble crossing, but Shibuyas' was far bigger!
Harajyuku's Takeshita street was crowded too.

I had a discovery.
It was real that people in Shibuya's scramble crossing never hit each other.

Internship

Hello, everyone. This is Akane from EDC1.
Are you enjoying summer vacation?

I joined in internship of KOSTA for ten days.
KOSTA is an advertising agency in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka and Nagoya.
This company is a little far from my house, so it was hard for me to get up early everyday.
I felt stressed at first because this internship is no students except me.
However, all staffs were so kind, so I could enjoy my internship!!
Many staffs taught me job of advertising agency and knowledge of advertisements.
I knew new information every day, so I could have valuable experiences.
Also, I could hear about job hunting from young staffs.
This internship was very good chance to think job hunting!

The Dog was coming

Hi!! Everyone . I am Mao from EDC1.

I fogot write blog....

I am busy everyday because I work part time job.

Last Sunday, a dog came my house because her master and family retured home.
She have stayed my house for 3 days.
Her name is Marin. She is Pinscher. Doyou know Pinscher? The Pinscher is known as the "King of the Toy Dogs". It is also root of Doberman.

Marin is very cute!! She likes to be held by human and jogging.

She is also very coward. One day, suddenly she bark and jump in my arms. First, I do not why she did but I understood. The next-door neighbor's dog was barking so she was afraid of it. It was very funny. I though ‘Is she really root of Doberman?

Dobermans are brave and strong but she is....’
Last Tuesday, during I worked part time job, she came back home.
I missed and I want to have dog.

I think Pet heal our mind.

Next mouth, I am going to go driving school.

I will be more hard living.

Meeting with my high school friends

On Tuesday night I met with my high school classmates and we had a small party in Izakaya.
I couldn't drink a lot but it was really fun party.
We ate some Korean food in Izakaya. It was good.
After the party me and my friends took some Purikura.
I had a wonderful time with my old friends.

An iron man race!

Hi! This is Eri from EDC1.

Today, I went shopping to AEON mall in Shitoro with my mother.
And to my surprise, I met Mr. Sheehan when I took a rest! I was glad to see him!

By the way, last Sunday, I participated in triathlon as a staff. The name of the competition was "Lake Hamana triathlon 2009".
（↑ At 5:40 a.m. ）　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
On that day, I got up at four in the morning! However, I felt refreshed.
This was the first time for me to watch the race of triathlon.

I think triathlon is really hard because athletes have to swim, ride a bicycle, and run a long distance. So, everyone looked very cool!

I prepared drinks and supplyed them to athletes.

This was a valuable experience, so I want to join it as a staff next year. If possible, I want to join as an athlete someday...

Internship and a trip

Hi, everyone. This is Hitomii from EDC3. How are you doing?

My internship was finished last Saturday. I joined Entetsu's internship, and it was for 5 days. I think it was too long, but too short ;) lol There are 36 students from other universities. Almost all of them are originaly from Hamamatsu, however, they live in other cities.

We was taught what Entetsu is, and went to some companies. I experienced Entetsu Travel's works. I made some ads. The right side picture shows you what I made. In the picture, I made the bottom part. I recommend you guys for going to Aki, especially Miyajima. I like the fellow catch copy, "Aki ni iku Aki." It means "to go Aki( place-name) in fall." It sounds really nice, isn't it? haha

I felt full-time work is really hard. Working people are soooooo amazing. I wanna be a student forever:( However, the internship was great experience. I'm sure other students have same idea as me.

I'll go to Kyoto as a trip wiz Natsumi for 3 days! I can't wait!!!!! I hope I don't sleep in tmrrw:P

Oigawa

Hello, everyone!
I'm Yumi from EDC1.
How about your summer vacation? Do you enjoy it?
I often work part-time.
But, last Wednesday, I went to the Oigawa with members of ultimate circle.
We went to the Oigawa by the car. It took about 2～3 hours to arrive at the Oigawa.
We had a barbecue inthe riberside, and played ultimate in the river.
There were a lot of fishes. My friends caught a very small fish in her's nets.
We went to public bath on the way to home.
We enjoyed ourselves very much!

Next month, I will have a barbecue with my friends.
I am look forward to having a barbecue!

HIROSHIMA 1

Hello, everyone! How's it going?
This is Moe from EDC1 students.

August 22 to 23, I went to Hiroshima.
I met my friend.
I saw famous sight seeing and eat famous Hiroshima's foods.

Many foreign country people came this place.
Our generation people, especially Japanese people doesn't know
war, so we should learn war, and keeping peace.

I think you know famous food of Hiroshima.
For example, Okonomiyaki(Hiroshima version), Oyser, and Momiji Mannjyu is famous foods.
Do you know Tukemen? Tukemen is dip your chinese noodle in the soup. This is famous food
of Hiroshima, but all most people does not know. It was very delicious!! You should try it!!

A soccer game

Hello, everyone. I'm Eri from EDC1.
How is your summer vacation?

On August 19th, I went to the YAMAHA stadium in Iwata with my friend because my father gave us SS seat tickets!
It was a soccer game between Jubilo Iwata and Kawasaki Frontale.
I am a fan of Jubilo Iwata, so I cheered the team.

Kawasaki Frontae is a storong team, however, Jubilo could win the game by a score of 3-1. This victory was the three hundredth victories for Jubilo. I was very excited!
Besides, during halftime and after the game, fireworks were displayed. The victory and fireworks made me very happy!

Watching a game on TV is good, but watching a game at a stadium is more exciting. You should go to a stadium and let's cheer Jubilo!

Book Review

Hello. This is Miho from EDC1.

How about your summer vacation?

This summer I have read " David Copperfield".

This story was written by Charles Dickens. As you know, " Oliver Twist" is also his work.

This book is level3. It is Pre-Intermediate. I think that this book is easy to read.

Now, I want to tell you about " David Copperfield".

Main Character is David Copperfield. and this work has been affected by Dickens life. Copperfield was spend happy life. However it is changed suddenly. Because his mother marries again and new her husband hit him very hard.

Next husband makes Copperfield go to work in London. But he hate the work, so he runs away. Like this, he spends sad time when he was a child. In the time, he met a lot of people who affect him in the future. Later he passes through difficulties and spend full life. In the end, he gets happy life.

I'm sorry, I can't explain the story in datail. But I enjoyed reading this book.

Frano Music Festival

Hello everyone. I’m Miharu from EDC3.
Now I spend in my hometown, Furano. Here is so cold!! I didn’t take warm wear Because Hamamatsu is so hot before when I went to Furano. I surprise about Frano and Hamamatsu are same country.

Today, I went to Furano music festival with my sister. It is performance of sing on the outside stage. In this stage, there is some professional of music. Keiko Lee, Jyongri, Koutaro Oshio and Gospelers. I could enjoy the stage. I like Koutaro Oshio’s guitar music. So I was so happy. And I had a group of A cappella. Sometimes we sing “Hoshikuzu no machi” of Gospelers. Today I could listen the song so I could study of that.
Today is so cold but I had a grate time.

How are you doing your summer vacation?

Next Monday to Wednesday, Hitomi in EDC3 and I are going to go to Kyoto!!
I have been really looking forward to the trip.
Maybe we will eat a lot of Yatsuhashi in Kiyomizuzaka (for free:)) and Takoyaki in Osaka and so on.
In fact, we wanted to go to Genbaku-dome and Itsukushima-shrine in Hiroshima but it takes too much time to get to Hiroshima, so we gave up and decided to go to Kyoto and Osaka.
Maybe we can go to Hiroshima next spring vacation:):)
I guess it will be a cool trip.
But I am anxious about typhoon…

Nagoya

Hi everyone!!! I’m Kiwa from EDC1.
How was your half of summer vacation?
I am enjoying this summer very much.

On August 24, I went to Nagoya with my friend.
In Nagoya, we went to port of Nagoya public aquarium. It is first time to go there.
There are so many big and small fish. Some fish is so strange figure but some fish are so cute.
Dolphins are most cute that I saw.
I saw dolphin’s show. They are jumping so high and swam with trainer.
They are so clever.

After that, I went to Sakae to do some shopping.
I bought a new black skirt.
I like it very much.

I have a good time in Nagoya.

How are you these days?
I'm enjoying my summer vacation.

My biggest event of this month is travel to Hokkaido.
This was my second trip to Hokkaido, but I was so excited.
In my first trip, I was too young to remember that memory.

In this trip, I went there with my sister and my grand mother, and her younger sister.
We went some cities; Furano, Sapporo, Otaru and Asahiyama.
There was so many natures... green plants, animals, seafood....large nature gave us great chance to touch with it.

This trip told me some things.
I thought nature has been destroyed.
In the past, my hometown had more nature, but now it is decreasing.
I thought we have to keep our nature which make us comfortable.

Mt.Fuji Shizuoka Airport

Hello, everyone. I'm Kasumi from EDC3.

I can't believe that half of this summer vacation has gone...
Over last weekend, I had a party with some members of the International Education Seminar, and the another day, I went to Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport with my parents. The airport was smaller than Central Airport in Aichi, but my heart was beating when I saw air planes:-) I spent about one and half an hour enjoying all of things I experienced there. I will go to Narita Airport in this September to meet a staff of ANA who graduated from SUAC last year! I can't wait for going to Narita!!

Hello, everybody! I’m Sayaka from EDC1. It’s my first post.

How is your summer vacation?

Did you see some movies in this summer vacation? I saw two movies, “Harry Potter AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE” and “Night Museum 2”. They are very interesting movie!

There are some sad and painful scenes. Those scenes pain me to see.
But there are a lot of pleasant and cool scenes! The scene which Ron plays Quiddtch is very cool!! I love it!! Of coerce, Harry is also cool!

The stage of this movie is Smithsonian museum! It’s wonderful!
It is very powerful movie!

my friend came to Japan !!!!!

Hello everyone. I'm Nozomi from EDC1.

I cannot believe that half of my summer vacation almost finish but I really enjoy this summer.

I went to Tokyo to meet my friends I met in Findlay. One of them came to Japan from Saudi Arabia bacause he came here to meet his girlfriend. who is a Japanese. I'm close him and his girlfriend, so I'm really glad to see them. First day I had a big problem. I could not ride a high way bus on time, because of a big earthquake in Shizuoka. As a result I could ride the bus about 5 hours behind schedule. I arrived at Tokyo at 7:00 pm. The day we just went to Japanese bar, but I really enjoyed to talk with my friend in English, Japanese and little Arabic.
Next day we went to Tokyo desiney sea. There are freaking busy!!!!!!!!!!!! We had lined up for 1 hour half to get the ticket. We were alrealy tired before we spent a time in the Tokyo desney sea. Eventually we rode 7 attraction and saw 3 shows. I was very satisfy.
Last day my friend who is from Saudi wrote a message on the Arabic bill before I came back to Shizuoka. I was toughched by the message and sad because he said I was his sister, probably we wouldn't meet again but he would never forget me. I'm not sure I can meet him again but I hope he has been my friend and brother forever even though we cannot meet.

World Athletic Competition

Hi, I'm Takahiro form EDC3.

Did you watch World Athletic Competition?
I'm interested in it because Usain Bolt took part in that competion.
His performance made people all over the world excited again!!
He won three gold medals:100 and 200 meters and 400 meters relay.

What surprises me at most was 100 meters. Some commentators said that it was very difficult to break the world record. However, Bolt broke the world recorld he made last year easily.

In addition, he also made all people laugh. The reason is that he always danced and striked interesting poses.

I felt his ability was infinite, so I expect his success in the future and I'm looking forward to the next competition.

Hi, every one! This is Yasuko from EDC1. How is your summer vacation? August comes to an end soon... I feel sad :(
Anyway, I had a plan to go to Tokyo Disneyland in this weekend. But I can't go...because the Disney bus tour cancelled. I got double shock!!! To tell the truth, I never been to Tokyo Disneyland, so I 'm very look forward to go to there someday. If you had been to Tokyo Disney, please tell me your opinion :D

Instead of Disneyland, I'll go to short trip in Shizuoka prefecture. It wil become last summer memory in August.

SUMMER!

Hi, This is Yumika from EDC3. How's your summer vacation?
I enjoy everyday. I did a lot of things.
In the first day of my summer vacation was open campus staff. It was a nice day. I talked to many high school students. Surprisingly, some students were junior high school students. I hope that they enjoyed this open campus. After open campus, we went to Mexican food restaurant. That was really nice. I had great time with my teachers and friends. Thank you Mr. Pals, Mr Sheehan, Atsuko(thanks for coffee!), Rika, and Kasumi!

In the middle of the summer, I went to Acty Mori with my friends. Mori-matchi is really nice place.
Mori is famous for green tea. The view of this town was cool. Clean forest, clear river and fresh air... It was really great!!! In Acty mori, I made Japanese paper. We could make beautiful paper. We played with Japanese old toys like daruma otoshi, wanage, and takeuma. We also ride a canoe. I used to go to Acty mori with my family when I was a child. Everythings of Acty Mori reminds me of good old memories and now I'm 20 years old, but still so much fun for me.

My summer is really nice so far. Internship at HICE starts soon. I want to learn lot's of newthings at HICE.

An Exhibition of ISHIYAMA Temple

Hi, again. I'm Kasumi from EDC3.

I went to Hamamatu city museum to see An Exhibition of ISHIYAMA Temple last Thursday.
Because I like this kind of Japanese collects, monuments of the Buddha, Japanese art from Muromachi Era, I enjoyed seeing all of them. The main idea of this exhibition is to show not only the Buddha from ISHIYAMA Temple, but also arts of Murasaki Shikibu. I was impressed by these arts because the artists had shown their fine sense very well.

Hopefully, I will have a chance to go to Ishiyama temple during this summer vacation.

International Education Seminar!!

Hi, everyone. I'm Kasumi from EDC3.

How have you been?
On last 2 weeks, I attended to International Education Seminar for high school students held by SIR(Shizuoka Association for International Relations). High school students in Shizuoka and exchange students from 15 countries came to Yaizu Youth Center on August 11th to 13th. I was one of the staffs as a part of internship.


There were about 85 people including staffs. I can't say how fun the seminar was though, I think lots of them felt same as me. We had discussion, presentation, campfire, trading game and JICA's performance. Some of the participants were Japanese-Brazilian, and they presented how they came to Japan, the difficulty to have job in Japan, their identity and how we can live in a community without prejudice for people who have different skins.


I really felt the internship was great! This seminar changes my thought to communicate with people. I suppose I will never give up getting job!!

Book Review "Matilda" by Roald Dahl

Hi! How are you doing?
This is Sachiko from EDC1.

I read the book called “Matilda” written by Roald Dahl in this summer vacation. The level of this book is 3, pre-intermediate level, by Penguin Readers. The story attracted me! So I read this book in one sitting! I want to tell you the story of "Matilda".

Matilda is the main character. She is very clever girl.(She could speak perfectly by the age of one and a half. When she was four years and three months, she has finished reading all the children's book and she start to read books such as Charles Dickens. She is very genius!) But, her parents are interested in their children. So they did not know her ability and they forgot to send her to school.
When she was five and a half, she began school. At the school, she met two teachers ,called Miss Honey and Miss Trunchbull. Miss Honey was loved by all the children, but Matilda felt her difficulty. internship of SBS

Hi everyone!! This is Yasuko from EDC1, and it's my first time to post.

How 's it going your summer vacation? You have good vacation??

Anyway, I went to Shizuoka city from 12th to 16th August to join an internship of SBS. Do you know SBS? SBS is one of the local TV station in Shizuoka. I worked at business department.

My intership section is 11 students, so I could talk many university people, it's good!!

In the 1st day and 2nd day, I heard about job of SBS and did some job.

In 3rd day to last day, I joined summer event of SBS in Aoba park, and my part was a special investigation unit of Shizuoka science for children (in Japanese say 静岡科学特捜隊). So I made some science good with many children. It was very fan and children were so cute!!!

And, do you know panpaka-pantsu? It's very cute pig character of SBS. I love it!!

It was sooo nice experience for me!! And I could get good friends through internship!!

Now, I will take pleasure in doing job-hunting!

Nakanomahci fire works

Hello again!!
This is Tomomi from EDC3.

I went to see fireworks at my hometown.
I went with my boyfriend, my parents, my older sister, and my sister's boyfriend.

Nakanomachi fireworks are not so famous as Bentenjima or Kanzanji one, however, I like it the best.
On nakanomachi fireworks, fireworks are displayed so close to the spectators. Some piece of fireworks ball falls on us.
On the last part of the fireworks, all you can see is just fireworks!!

Nakanomachi fireworks are held on 14Th on August every year.
You should come too!

internship

Hi, this is Hitomii from EDC 3. I'm really nervous because of the internship in this week. I'll join the Entetsu group's internship. I have to get up earlier than usual :( In addition, they gave me a assignment:((( The internship will last by this Saturday, so I'd like to report my experience next week. I hope I do well. See ya!

Outdoor day

Hi, everyone! This is Akane from EDC1. This is first post to this blog.
How is your summer vacation??

3days ago, I had a barbecue near Tenryu River with my friends from junior high school. Tenryu River is popular when local people have a barbecue. So, many people go there every year.
We bought many foods, drinks and fireworks. Preparations for barbecue are a little hard, but foods were delicious. While we ate foods, I talked a lot with my friends. I have little opportunity to meet my friends from junior high school because many of them work. So, I was very happy to talk with them!

After barbecue, we shot off fireworks. Spout fireworks (Funshutsu Hanabi in Japanese) was very beautiful. We enjoyed fireworks but we bought too many fireworks. Therefore, we were sometimes tired of fireworks...

Anyway, I enjoyed barbecue and fireworks!! Summer vacation still has many days, so I hope you make good memory and experience.

Book Review

Hello, everybody. How are you getting along?
This is Shunsuke from EDC1.

I have finished reading a book of level 3, The Star Zoo. I'll tell you a little about this book.

The main character is Hummingbird who is a girl of sixteen and lives somewhere in the Galaxy, on a planet called just Like Home. The time setting of this story is many many years away after people abandoned the Earth. Long time ago, the Earth was too hot to continue living humans' life, and it was same to all the animals. Then animals were extinct and people escaped from the Earth into space. So people haven't seen any animals, but history of the Earth tells some information about animals. One day, she found the Star Zoo by chance. There were many kinds of alive animals. She wanted to take them to her own planet. Her family robot made a cat robot in order to introduce the Star Zoo. However, when people took one look at the robot, they immediately got crazy and mad. Most of adults somehow wanted to destroy that animal even though it was only a robot. And it was destroyed.
(To tell the truth, I couldn't understand why they wanted to destroy the animals...)

In the end, Hummingbird tried to show another cat robot to kids. They really liked it.
She thought it is too early to introduce the Star Zoo right now and it takes some time.


I couldn't tell you the summary of this book clearly, sorry.

Trip to Mie prefecture!

Hi! This is Rika from EDC3!

How are you guys doing?

I'm enjoying summer vacation!

In 11 to 13, My friend and I went to Mie!

Do you know Mie is one of the famous world heritage place?

There is 3 world heritages in Mie.

I went to all the 3 places.

11 is the day we went to Mie, but this day was not good condition day.

Typhoon 8 was reaching to Hamamatsu, and at 5 o'clock, there is an earth quake in Hamamatsu.

I was worried if I couldn't go to Mie, but weather turned to sunny, so we went to Mie.

Hamamatsu was little bit cloudy, but it's sunny in Mie!

1st day, we rest in the hotel and we didn't go to anywhere.

I was really surprised at dinner! It was a real banquet!

I forgot to took picures, so I post 2nd day dinner.

It was very delicious dish! I love tenpura and sashimi!

And also, breakfast is really good!

Can you imagine you can eat grilled dried fish over charcoal fire?

This is the first time I use charcoal fire!

And 2nd day, we went to world heritage.

First, we went to Onigajou. There is called that pirates are living.
I was surprised that ocean is very clear!

Second, we went to Hananoiwaya.

I didn't really know what is Hananoiwaya, but I took one picture of it.

Do you know what is Hananoiwaya?

And third, we went to Shishiiwa.

Shishiiwa is rock that seems like lion's face.

This picture is little small, but you can see lion in this picture.









3rd day, we leave hotel and we went to Nagashima sparland!

This is the first time that I went to there!

We went to there to swimming, but there were many people in the pool.

So pool is little bit warm and I couldn't really swam....but I enjoyed there!

I really enjoyed this trip!

I want to go to Mie again!
