I went to Yokohama & Kamakura on 20-21.

I visited Queen's Square, Cosmo World, Enoshima Aquarium ...many places!

In addition, I went shopping to Gamagori on 28th.

I got cheap but cute clothes and shoes there. I like autumun & winter because I can wear boots!

Of course I bought a pair of boots♪ I feel happy when I go shopping and dress fashionably.

Hi, I'm Mayumi.
I have to say sorry・・・long time no see;;

Well, the first half of August, I went to the library to train as a librarian.
Then, I got a really terrible cold!!
I had a fever of over 38 degrees;; It was really hard for me to get up. So I had been bed for whole 3 days.
What's worse, I have to go to driving school now. But, I'm not in normal condition;
Now, actually, even it's really hard for me to face PC and type this sentence;; Only standing, I swirl;
I wonder when I'll recover because I don't feel like eating.

But anyway, I have to go to driving school every day.
Maybe you guys arleady had a driver's license, hadn't you? How do you feel when you go to the school? I'm really anxicious.

Hello, everyone! How are you?? I'm YUMIKO!!

On August 29th...
I went to Nagoya with my friend Kahori who is a member of the EDC.

1) We visited Fujigaoka!!

I had lived in the area for three years. It has been about thirteen years since I left there, so I really wanted to go there!! The area was so comfortable to live because the Fujigaoka subway station was close, and the Nagoya interchange was close, too. Meanwhile, the area is calm and peaceful! We went to Starbucks in Fujigaoka. The coffee shop was built in November last year. Lots of aged men and women came there compared with Starbucks in Hamamatsu.




2) I got a black tote bag of DEAN & DELUCA finally!!

DEAN & DELUCA was located in MIDLAND SQUARE. DEAN & DELUCA is a market and cafe that was established at SOHO in New York in 1977. Many imported goods were sold, for example, coffee beans, tea, spices, pasta... I can't tell you everything! Besides, the marvelous delicatessen was there, too. Beautiful cakes, tasty-looking quiches and several precooked food were displayed in cases!!

I was so delighted to go Nagoya! I really appreciate letting my friend do as I like to do!!

Hamamatsu Zoo♪

I enjoy reading everyone's story!!! Everyone spend nice summer vacation★★

I am busy working CSN activities!! Almost everyday!!

On 24th, we went to Hamamatsu zoo with children. Have you ever been there?
Maybe if you live in Hamamatsu, you have been to Hamamatsu zoo many times.





It was too hot. I was worried about children's conditions, but everyone was so fine. Too fine!!

CSN members were exhausted.......but it was really fun♪♪

Children are so cute(>▽<) I enjoyed it !!

By the way, did anyone find a good restaurant for EDC party??? I can't find.

Hi, it's me~~~~~~(^^♪

That's great!!

Now, I'm on a training as a hotel staff at Okura Act City Hotel.
I have a happy news today.

Today, it's seventh day to me, the customer gave me 1000yen for the service that they got!!!!!!
I was so surprised because I'm still on a training and I get to know how to help customers go to their room with their luggage and explain how to use their room in a few days. The service that I can give customers should not be perfect.

However, the customers that gave me a tip were satisfied with the service. This is the happiest thing to me!! You know???

I'm sure this is the job that I wanna get in the future.

On Thursday...
I went out for a drink with my friends who studied English together in London last summer! The picture was taken at a tavern in Hamamatsu. We chatted some funny happenings in London; we remembered our amazing teachers and friends from another countries. Besides, we talked about our career choice. I really had a wonderful time with them! I felt as if I was in London then.

On Friday...
I went for a drive with my friend! However, I don't have a driver's license, so she drove a car. She and I went to New Zealand for studying English when we were high school students. She is going to the UK for about six months in order to improve her English speaking and listening skills. She will leave Japan at the beginning of September. I hope that she'll enjoy her life with English in the UK!
We went to Shitoro shopping center; we purchased clothing, and we talked with beverages at Starbucks.

By the way, I had returned home last week.

I enjoyed this homecoming because I met many friends from junior high school, and high school.

We talked about a lot of things: past memories, study, future, and love♪

On Monday, I came back to Hamamatsu.
Yesterday, the shop where I work was not open, so I and my coworkers went to eat lunch and karaoke.

We sang and danced for many hours, about 6 hours.

We were so exciting!!

How are you?? im so busy recentry because Im on the Internship at Okura hotel.

but, i m off yesterday and today.

so i went wakeboarding in the lake Hamana yesterday with my friends first time.

One of my friends has a boat and he often go wakeboarding in summer.

He taught me and my friend how to do it.

BUT!!!

It was sooooooooooo difficult, but I enjoyed it very much.

Im NOT good at swimming.

On the other hand, my friend was so good at wakeboarding although it was also first time

for her to do it.

I could not attend classes at end of July because I was sick.
However, I got well now, so my vacation has just come!!

Last Saturday, I went to Kawasaki to see the contest of HAMONEP.
Do you know the contest?
This is the contest of a cappella. HAMONEP was one of projects of Neptune's TV program.
The contest was held after an interval of five years.

I really enjoyed the good performances of participants.

My summer vacation is not special, but I'm a little busy.

Recently, I dance four times a week!! It's really tough for me. And now, I choreograph for Hekifusai on November at SUAC. I chose Amuro Namie's song. She is cool, so I like her very much. I listen her songs evryday.



By the way, I will go to the Amuro Namie's concert this weekend!! It's the first time for me to go her concert. I'm really looking foward to going it.

I went to FUKUROI firework on 11st and NAGOYA on 17th.

As Yuka already told, Fukuroi Firework was so great!!

It was my first time to go there, I really enjoyed it.

When I went to Fukuroi, I wore YUKATA!!

My sister works at a beauty salon, and I had my hair and yukata set by her colleague.
I was so lucky and the charge was less than 5,000 yen!!
I thanked my sister and her colleague very much.

By the way, I am going to go to YOKOHAMA tomorrow.

By the way, today I saw the movie "TRANSFORMERS" with my friend. The movie was made on the basis of old Japanese animation. Do you know that? Yesterday, I went to Shizuoka City Culture Hall to watch the stage of As You Like It.
The director of As You Like It is Yukio Ninagawa.
On this stage, I saw Shun Oguri, Hiroki Narimiya and some famous actors!!
My seat was the center of the hall, and there is the aisle near this seat.
These actors used the aisle, so I could luckely see them from up close.

Real Shun Oguri was sooooo, soooooooooooooo...... COOL!!

As You Like It is a Shakespeare's comic play.
I laughed in some parts of this play.
On the whole, I was satisfied!!
It was really good!!

Yamanashi!

Hello!!
What a great view! Don't you think so?

Do you remember "Ima Ainiikimasu"? In the movie, Akeno Sunflower Field in Yamanashi was used. I went there on 17th. I saw beautiful views like these picutres! Some sunflowers withered, but others are at their best. Sunflowers are in full bloom now. I highly recommend going there!

It is also known for grapes in Yamanashi. Grapes, in other words, wine! My friend and I visited a winery. We drunk 6 kinds of wine and learned about the differences in each wine. Each wine has different flavor and scent. The wine tasting was very interesting! Additionally, I recognized wine as deep drink.

I enjoyed Yamanashi very much☆ See you!

Hi, everyone♪　I'm Asami.

On 12th, I went to "Tsumagoi" in Kakegawa to listen to a live concert, "a-nation '07" with my friend.
The live is so popular and it is said that it's hard to get the ticket, but I could get it because my co-worker had extra tickets!
I was so luckey☆☆
The ticket was 7800 yen. It was not cheap, but a lot of popular and famous singer and dancer appeared in the concert, so it was worth paying.
The singer and dancer who appeared were Ayumi Hamasaki, Kumi Koda, Every Little Thing, TRF, mihimaru GT, and so on...
I and my friend were so excited, and we danced, sang, and shouted!!
It was sooooooo fun!!!

Tokyo Disney

Hello everyone,
It was fun to read all of your posts and hear how things are going this summer. I hope you are staying cool. It has been so hot here in Hamamatsu. My mother and aunt visited Japan last week. We went to the pension Symphony and had a relaxing time. We then had a busy time in Tokyo. Here are some pictures from Tokyo Disney. It was hot and crowded, but we still got on many rides. (We were at the park from 9AM-9:30PM.) I thought Pirates of the Caribbean was the best. Kaitou loved the Buzz Lightyear ride and the car race.

About my summer vacation......

On August 3rd, 4th, 5th, I went camping with CSN members and elementary school students.
Iwata City holl held the camp and they asked us to go comping with elementary school students. There were 75 students!! It was really big camp.
It was really really really fun and I was moved.(><。) I didn't want to finish the camp!! This camp was maybe one of the best memory in my summer vacation♪






On August 11th, I went to the firework of FUKUROI!!
There were sooooooooooo many pepole and It was hot!!
However it was really beautiful and fantastic!!
I didn't met EDC studetns.... Did you go to FUKUROI??

I work at Starbucks, and I go to the practice for the JUDO club as usual...

She will be nine years old on August 29th, but recently she has hurt her right paw... I don't know why, but she sometimes whines when she feels a pain.

Hi, everyone! How are you?
I'm maho.

I want to tell you the result of the first test for becoming teachers I took.

I passed it!! I can't believe it! (◎■◎) Why!!???

But.. I'm not happy. I was going to travel KYUSHU during the third week on August. The next final test is held on August 16th... I can't go to KYUSHU.. I'm sad. (:_;)
Honestly speaking, I was going to give up becoming a teacher..

Well, I took part in the conpetition at Yaizu on August 5th as a member of SUAC Wind Ensemble.
We got a silver award. (8th of all)
I was disappointed the result, and I realized that I should practice more.
I should think about SUAC Wiind Ensemble Regular Concert in December.


And...
Last week, I went to the reataurant, TROMBA.
EDC graduated students introduce this restaurant in the podcast.
