How is your spring vacation?
I am busy with my part time job. However, I enjoy my spring vacation(^-^)

I drove to Gotenba to see illumination with my friends.
Have you ever visited to Gotenba? We went to outlet to some shopping, and then went to a restaurant for supper. I ate lot and drunk some grass of beer. It tasts good!!!!
After dinner, we saw illumination. The illumination was so beautiful(u_u)

DOUGHNUT PLANT

Hi, I'm Mai.

Have you ever eaten the doughnuts of DOUGHNUT PLANT?
I went to Tokyo 5 days ago, and I ate them at Ecute Shinagawa. I aspire to eat the doughnut of DOUGHNUT PLANT, so my small dream comes true. The taste of the doughnut is good, but it is sweet beyond my imagination.

This store came from New York city. The feature of this store is that all of the doughnuts are handmade. They don't use additives, and stains.

I recommend a taste of cassis. ( the middle one in the picture) The color is showy, however the taste is great. There are no stores of Doughnut Plant in Shizuoka now. I hope Doughnut Plant will be made in Shizuoka as soon as possible.

To my surprise, the Feburary is about to end...It is so fast to time passing.

Yesterday, I got a driver's license!!!!! Yeah!!!! I'm sooooooo HAPPY and I will go for driving with my dad tonight. It is cool!

Today, I want to introduce my dog Pattina. She is female and She'll be 7-year-old this June. I live with her and we go for a walk everyday, in the morning and evening. She loves to go to outside because she is in the inside of the house almost of the day.

I love her and I'm sure she loves me as well!! I She is not just a dog, but my sister!!

Someday, I want to travel and run a long way with her!!!!

My recent life☆

Hi, I'm Saori.

I'm easygoing, so I enjoy relaxing by doing something recently. I wake up at 7 a.m. and walk 30 minutes every morning. I can feel refreshed by clear air and the scene of the country!!

I listen to English songs not to forget English everyday. I also read LITTLE WOMEN. This book is Level 4 of OXFORD BOOKWORMS LIBRARY. It has many new words, so it is not easy for me to understand the story...

In addition, I study Korean. I'll be in Mr. Imu's Korean seminar in spring semester, so I'm studying Korean now. I study Korean words and phrases; however, Korean is very difficult... I thought I have to study more hard!!

I learned to speak Korean and write the Hangul alphabet a little. I wrote some sentences in the Hangul alphabet. Please look at bellow↓↓

Enchanted

Hi! I'm Miki.

Yesterday, I saw a movie 'Enchanted'. The movie is released March 14th officially. I got a ticket of the pre-release! I was so happy♪

'Enchanted' is a musical from Disney. Beginning of the movie, it looks ordinary princess animation. But not! Before the wedding ceremony of the princess, she was cheated by a witch, and she went to a terrible place. The place is completely opposite from fairyland, modern-day New York!

The princess was of course drifted away from people in New York. She taught them real love by singing. She became more emotional in real world, and she also realized what is real love.

The story is very funny, and songs are very good, too! 3 songs from this movie were nominated for Academy award.

This movie parodies some other Disney princess movie. You will also enjoy it.

If you are tired in real life and want to go to fairyland, go to see this movie. I think you can realize advantage and disadvantage of fairyland and real world.

white day is coming!!

Hi, every one. I'm Ryosuke.

How is your spring vacation goin on? Right now, I'm thinking about what kind of present I should give on white day. Let me tell some story about how white day began.

First of all, white day seems to be started from Japan. Am I the only one who didn't know about that? By the time when Japanese were getting used to valentine day, young people started to give their return. Then the sweet company focused to this situation, and each made their own day to promote selling sweets like cookies and candy.

There are some of the reasons, why it is named with the color ‘’white’’. One is that the sugar used to making the candy was white. Also it is told that one of the sweet company sold white marshmallows in those days. However, Most of them were related with the sweet.

How was the story? I hope you enjoyed it. Maybe I’ll give something warm because the wind in Hamamatsu is getting stronger day by day. I almost got stunned last day when I was riding a bicycle. Enjoy your rest of the vacation!!

Hello! This is Minori writting. How are you, guys? How are you spending your vacation?

I will take a test for get my driving license tomorrow. As you know, I have to get 90% correct scores. Oh, my Gosh!! I belive I can do it!...but, please pray for me!!!!

For my break, let me introduce some my favorit things.

The picture you see right is my ipod nano. I use it everyday. I usually listen to the ABC News in English on the podcast for my study. I really recommend you to use it. You can also listen to the music with high quality. This was my first shopping of this year. Next to it, you see the biscuit. Maybe you think you can eat, but NO!! You can't eat it. This role is to roll my year code. My best friend gave me it for my birthday present!! I love it and I use them everyday.

The picture you see the below is my shoes "Converse". I've been using this model since I was 11 years old. When I was a little, I was watching the movie "Back To The Futre" everyday. In the movie, the hero, Marty wears this shoes. I was so impressed and thought"COOL!!". Then I started to use it. My old one get so old, so my boyfriend bought for
my Christmas present. For me, it is nice to get Converse more than a diamond. I will put on this one for tomorrow's test.

Movie～♪

How about your spring vacation? Two weeks have passed since the vacation started. Time flashed by......

I started a new job after February 7. I work at bookstore. I like books and service industry, so I enjoy working there. I have to remember and settle into a new job, so I work hard!

By the way,

I went to see a movie with my friend last week. That day was weekday, so the movie theater was not crowded. We saw "L change the world". Have you seen it yet??

This movie is about L who is the character of "Death Note". He is an intelligent detective. He solved many murder cases in Death Note, and he saved many people in L change the world. It was a little grotesque movie, but the story was good!! I recommend you to see this movie!! I did not know "Death Note" well, but I really enjoyed watching L change the world.

When you get tired from part-time job or job hunting, how about watching movies? You must be relaxed(^_-)-☆

Overseas travel

Hello, everyone!
I' m Mai. I went to Guam with my friends. It was so fun! I have been there for 3 days.
First day, I went to two lover point. I took pictures from the headland. The landscape was very beautiful, and the color of the sea is deep blue!! I swam in Tumon beach, and I could see tropical fishes.


Second day, we went to shopping. There are a lot of shopping mall in San Vitores RD.On the way to shopping, I found many signboards written in Japanese! There are many Japanese tourists, so local people also can speak Japanese well. I don't need to make myself understood in English...


The size of food in Guam is so big!! We bought this cake at a local supermarket, and it costs no more than 6 dollars. The height of this cake is about 10 cm. I ate the whole cake with three friends. I got fat because I ate too much!!

How are you??

I'm fine, but I'm a little tired because of JOB-HUNTING!!
Almost everyday I wear my suit and go somewhere.....


However, I had a very happy thing last Saturday!

On Feburary 16th, I went to karaoke box with my friends when I was a junior high school student.
We haven't met for six months, so we enjoyed talking and singing.

After a few hours passed, one of the staffs came into our room and served a cake for us.
At first, I didn't understand.

However, it was for me!!!!!!

My birthday is next month, so my friends prepared a birthday cake without informing me.

I felt very very happy!I really thanked them.
And I received a present from them. It was" incense". Do you know?
I want to relax by the scents and do my best for job-hunting.

Trip to Canada

Hi! I'm Miki.

I went sightseeing to Vancouver last week. I just came back home yesterday. I was in Vancouver just 2 days and half.

I'll show you some pictures.

Vancouver is a seaport. It's a beautiful city. There was a lot of tourists.

I visited famous 'Capilano suspention bridge'. There was a lot of trees, and I could feel fresh air.

I also visited 'Stanley Park'. There are 'Totem Poles' like this picture. These are arts of native Canadian. Colors are vivid and beautiful.

Moreover, I joined a day trip to Seattle! I went to Seattle city and an outlet mall. I could be there just 1 hour and half each, but I really enjoyed the trip. I think one of the most interesting experiences was passing across the border by land!


I visited the stadium of Seattle Marines. Did you realize that the right picture of player above me is Ichiro? Cameraman should have taken a picture which includes Ichiro and I. haha

I had great experiences in Vancouver and Seattle. I'd really like to visit there again, and I'd also like to visit another place!

Japanese Love

This morning I was watching the CBS news on SKY PerfecTV when a news report about love in Japan appeared. SKY PerfecTV blocked the video from the story. I could no longer see the picture. SKY PerfecTV sometimes does this if the news is showing something hard to look at like dead bodies from the war in Iraq. I wonder why they blocked this story.
