Hokkaido!!

Hi, I'm Natsuki from EDC1.

Did you enjoy your summer vacation?

I had a really good time.

I went to Hokkaido with my family about one week ago.

Iwent to there on high school's school trip about three years ago, so this time is second time!!

There were little cold, but good weather.

We went to Hakodate, Otaru and Sapporo. Hakodate is famous for its beautiful night view. We saw this famous night view. It was so beautifl and there were a lot of people.

Also, we ate a lot of sea food like crab, scallop and salmon roe.

I enjoied Hokkaido trip, so I want to go there again.

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium

Hey hey heeeeey!!!!

I'm Minori who is belong to the EDC grade3(already 4?) student.

I cannot belive that the last semester of my university life will begin tomorrow.

How was your summer time?

Did you had fun?

I could spend a very good time, I belive.

The day before yesterday, I made sure that I can go to graduate school.

I mean I passed the exam!!!!

I have to study hard from now on.

Anyway, let me tell you the movie

"Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium".

It is magical and fantastic movie,

the story about toy store.

I love whole color of movie.

You can understand what I mean if you watched the movie.

I really recommend you to watch it!!

Brazilian movies

hello, this is natsumi from edc 1.
i belong to "CSN" which is volunteer club and main activity is playing with foreign children
mainly it is Brazilian or Vietnamese children.

CSN held a Brazilian movie festival in kurieitohamamatsu on 27 september.
this festival was second time and the first one was held on 6, july.
we have prepared it since last summer!!
i have joined it since start as a staff.
we did all preparations from palning to gather working funds and advertising rentaling movies
so i really felt happy when pepople come and they got satisfied.

we showed "Doctors Of Joy" and "Sushi Man".
Doctors of joy is a documentary film about the work of clowns who perform in children’s hospitals. Sushi Man is a clay animation film and it is short comedy.
two movies are high quoilty feilms so most audiences could enjoyed these!!

after watching movies, we had small party.
we had quize about japan and brazil.

i enjoyed to hold some event and join a event as staff.

B-DAY!!!

On September20th, I became 20 years old!!! yay!!! I'm sooo happy because many people congratulated on my B-day:-)

We had a birthday party<3 It was so much fun and I had a great time with my family and friends.

I ate a blueberry cake and my friends gave me cute clothes.

20 years old!!! it was special for everyone, of course for me, too. I want to improve my English more and more because I became 20 years old... LOL. I want to do my best for everything!!!

My COMPUTER

Hello every one. I'm Miharu.

In this vacation, I bought personal computer.

Because my computer was broken when I spend a season of test.

I was so sad and it is inconvenience for me.

So I bought new one and I cauld use in Hokkaidou.

However, when I came to Hamamastu, I cauldn't use internet.

I didn't know why.

My computer didn't hook up to internet.

I sayed about it to my friend.

Then my friend sayed "I will help you.".

So My friend came my house and soon, my computer linked internet.

I was so surprise.

My friend surprised too.

After that she teached me many things about conputer.

I'm so happy.

And we went to "Mihamaya" and enjoy this time.

I spend a good time.

UCLA

Hi, this is Kasumi from edc1.
I really enjoy this summer vacation because of studying at UCLA.

There were so many Japanese students who took part in the same program,
and also were foreign students, such as Korean, Chinese, Brazilian and Italian.

As the campus was large, my friends and I walked a lot from our dormitory to the building
where we had classes. On the first day, we were likely to be late for the lessons!

Anyway, I went to a lot of places like San Francisco, Santa Monica, Hollywood and Disney Land.
It is said that San Francisco is good for living. Actually, I realized that feeling.
Time flew slowly. People spent their time chatting, playing chess out of a restaurant, shopping....
I was happy to have a time to visit there very much.

This trip was very meaningful for me and changed my way of thinking.
I was glad to take part in this program!!

I'll introduce my collection of picture postcards. I like to tour somewhere and buy picture postcards.
↑This postcards are the scene of Okinawa. I went to Okinawa when I was a high school student as a school trip. In Okinawa, especially, the sea was very beautiful!! I want to go there again if I have money...


←They are the scene of Kyoto. I have ever been to Kyoto about three times. My favorite place is Kiyomizu-temple. I visit there every time. I'll go to Kyoto in next winter vacation with my friend.







→Of course I bought postcards in the US. I bought many many postcards. Maybe 70 postcards!! There were very nice picture postcards in the US, so I enjoyed choosing postcards which I'll buy.

GOSPEL

Today I was back in Hamamastu.

I went to "Mikkabi Seinennnoie" to practice Gospel with club member.

We stayed 3days.

This practice is for "Hekifuu festival".

We will sing some songs in this festival.

We will sing "Hallelujah", "Obradi Obrada", "Joyful Joyful" and so on.

We were so tired, but also we enjoyed this time.

I cauld comunicate not only same grade stubents, but also senior and junior.

I had a really good time!!

I love Hawaii<3<3<3

Hi, everyone. I'm Yumika from EDC1.

I went to Hawaii with my friend:-)

I went to Oahu. In Oahu, there are beautiful beaches, mountain, sea creatures, delicious foods, many shops and kind people. Everything is great<3<3<3

We did many things in Oahu. We did banana boat, bumper tube, jet ski, sea walk, swimming, snorkeling, watching sea turtle and wind surfing. Of course, we went to shopping;) We were also taking ukulele and hula lessons.

It was so much fun and I didnt wanna go back to Japan.

I enjoyed Hawaii very much!! I want to go again:-D

Amerian Drama

hello,this is Natsumi, edc 1.

this summer vacation, i enjoyed watching American dramas on DVD with my friend.
i watched "Heros" and now my friend and i watch "sex and the city" and"Veronica Mars".
"Veronica Mars" is high school drama.

Veronica is high school student and detective.

she solve mysteryes and muder that happend in her school and town.

she is sometimes sooo cool and sometimes cute.

i like to watch drams with my friends because i can say something about the story or the scene.
i really like it!! especially, i like to watch American drams with my friens because they have so many surprising and interesting points.

for example, Veronica mars.
American high shcooｌ is really different from Japanese one.

most students has their own car or bike and they hold parties on weekend.

i was really suprised at having cars.

their behavior and looks look so adult and cool for me.

my friend and i watch Veronica talking about these things.
