Tokyo and Concert

Hi, everyone. How are you doing? I’m Natsuki from EDC3.
I went to Tokyo and concert with my sister on August 12.
First, we went to the Takeshita street. There are so many shops along the street and many people visited there.
Then, we went to Forever 21 and H&M. These two shops are really famous and popular, so many people waited in line. They have many cute clothes and jewelry. I bought a sandal at H&M.
Lastly, we went to the EXILE concert in Saitama Super Arena. It was so exciting and we had really good time. Their performance is wonderful. I want to go to the concert again.

Baby

Hi, everyone. How are you doing? This is Hitomii from EDC3 class.

I work at Japanese dining bar as a part time job. My boss got a baby yesterday! He said his wife had a difficult childbirth. However, I felt easy because his wife and the baby were also well. The baby is a girl. I've not heard the baby's name yet, so I wanna know it and meet her. I'd like to give some present for the baby, but I don't have any idea. If you have good idea, let me know :D

Happy birthday dear the cute baby <3

They took a bathe in the morning.

After that, someone visited computer room, and they use computer.

We help them in the computer room. They used internet and they drew some pictures.

They are really cute!! I want to join the volunteer work again.

One Summer Holiday

Hello everyone, this is Shunsuke from EDC1. I'll post a blog for the first time.
I had a wonderful time with my friends at the barbecue party today.

My friends are some of the members, "The Oregon Party". We named this group in that way in the past. It means the members who went to Eugene city, Oregon state together as one of study tourists when I was a third grades of junior high school student. Eugene city has a sister-city relationship with Kakegawa city.

Unfortunately, I can't say it was well-attended considering all of the members. However, 12 people participated in this event, including myself. (I think more about 5 people can join such this gathering as usual.)

After I ate the meal, I went cycling for a while and I rose a small hill.

The view from there was nice.

Anyway, I had a barrel of fun because we couldn't get together so often.

Do you spend good summer holidays?
I hope you enjoy the vacation very much.

Thanks. Bye.

Funny images

Hi, everyone. This is Takahiro from EDC3.
How about your summer vacation?

I'm spending my time on reading some books about my research field or my interesting field, so I think that I make use
of my time in the present. In addition, my goal of this edc blog during summer vacation is to post a blog per week at least.

By the way, I'm absorbed in finding funny images, which are parody of something. I will introduce you to some of them.

The first is titled "Katsuo in a pinch!". That picture shows as if Kastuo is scolded by many "Namihei". In addition, it shows as if he tries job application interview!!

Second is titled "Sazae-mon". It's collaboration of draemon and sazae-san. I think it interesting to change "Anago-san" into "Shizuka-chan".

Last is titled "Are you OK?". The players are professional players, but they are not playing soccer seriously.

Are you enjoying these images? If some of you don't feel interesting. please forgive me.
Then, see you again.

My HAPPY B-Day

Hi, everyone. This is Natsumi From EDC1. This is my first time to post stuff.
I want to post a blog, My HAPPY B-Day.

On August 4th was my 21th birth day.
On that day, I went to Atago river with my friends.
Fortunately, the rainy season has ended the day before, so the weather was so beautiful, and it was good day to play in the water!!
Nobody had a BBQ set, so we only ate Yakitori, some snacks and watermelon...
We didn' t have a nice food but Playing in the water wassatisfactory for us :)
On the side of the river, We cracked the waternelon in turn, and I hit it!!

After the playing in the river, we went to Izakaya to eat dinner.
And after the dinner, we shot off fireworks at the part near the university.

It was a so cool day! I thanked my cool friends ;)
I enjoy my vacation very much.
Anyway, have a nice vacation :)

Odaiba

Hello everyone. This is Yuka from EDC1. It is my first contribution to the EDC student blog.
On August 5, I went to Odaiba with my friend who live in Tokyo. To meet her, I took the Kodama Superexpress bound for Shinagawa by myself. Amazingly, there were many many people in Shinagawa station and Odaiba. I have never seen the crowd...
We enjoyed at Mechaike land, Fuji TV and DECKS Tokyo Beach. I ate Okaremon ice cream. It was very delicious and cool!! Moreover we got a funny case like Okaremon's face and a Okaremon Jr. card. Shopping was fun! I bought some meaningless goods...
DECKS Tokyo Beach is multiple entertainments place. I bought a newspaper which was published my date of birth. Reading that paper made me to feel so strange.
I want to go another retro house like Shouwa kan during the summer vacation. If you know good nostalgic place, please inform me! Enjoy summer ★

Shizunami beach★=3

Hi everyone! This is Tomomi from EDC3.
How is your summer vacation??

I went to Shizunami beach with my friends yesterday.

It took about 1 hour to get there by car (I drove!!). Day before yesterday, a weather report had said that it would be raining on that day. HOWEVER! the sky was very blue and the sunshine was horribly strong.

After having lunch, we went in the sea! The waves were little bit high... which means very exciting!!
We hired a big float ring, and held on it in the sea.
When a big wave comes, we flipped over many times! But(← oh it's bad ) we soon got the knack of it.
After just a one hour, we could ride on the waves!

What is fun at a sea is not only swimming. We made a sand castle on the beach!! We bored an tunnel too! I am so sad I didn't take a picture of it.

Before leaving there, we had ice creams. I chose white peach taste! It was really nice! No need to say!!

If some of you guys are going to go sea, don't get too much suntan! because it's scary. (~0~)

see you!

Part time job in KARUIZAWA :)

Hello, This is Natsumi from EDC 3. How was  your summer vacation? Now I work at a hotel "プチホテルエトワールアベニュー" in north Karuizawa. I will have stayed here for about 1 month until August 30 or 31. I work as a waitress and  I clean gust rooms. Dinner is French so working as a waitress is hard because of difficult and unfamiliar manners. But I enjoy this works.  I like to stay here.  Karuizawa is cool and has fresh air. I  stay with the owner's family. They are really kind and love their hotel.  The mother is really good at cooking so I can eat delicious meat for three time:) Today I ate "Nikuzyaga" and it's really delicious.  I put the hotel URL, please check it out.  http://www7.wind.ne.jp/etoile/index.html
