I am very happy to be back to school and meeting with my friends.

How was your first of the day after the summer vacation?

In my first post I wrote that I was working as a internship students.

First I went to Hamamatsu Kodomokan. It's in the ZaZa City Hamamatsu.

I played with a lot of students!!

Next, I went to Haqmamatsu Central Library. I went there because I want to experience how does it feel to be working as librarian.

There are thousands of books in this library and some are very expensive!!

Both of the jobs need a lot of energy, but I got some power from people who I met during internship!!

In 2010 September, during a week I went to internship at JTB in Hamamatsu.
I'm interested in a travel agency.

I had a valuable experienced before job hunting, because I had changed impression of travel agency.

I took part in doing business. I went to company or school.
This season, most of high school and elementary school go to school trip.
So travel agents said, this season was too busy.

Travel agency's job was not only travel support but also planning events or arrange training of the companies.

I want to make use of this experience to job hunting.

How was your summer holiday?

For 2 months I was very busy studying and working as internship students.

I'm very happy to be back to school again to chat with my friends!!

I've read the summer homework book, "The Last Lecture".

It was very interesting book and my favorite part was a drawing some picture on Randy's room wall.

I was surprised that his mother allowed him to do that.

I think my mother would not allow me to do this and I think I would not allow my children to do this when I became as mother.

Hello. My name is Sayaka YAMADA. I would like to post about Shakespeare. I knew Shakespeare and Romeo and Juliet on English and American literature history in first year student for the first time and I was not interested in it until then. The story was written in 16th century. Montague had only one son, Romeo, one of main character and Capulet also had only one daughter, Juliet. Both family stood in the opposition. However, one day, Romeo went to the party of Capulet family and he met her. They fall in love soon and married, but both families disagreed their marriage. This thing brought about sad destiny. Did you decide what you take class this semester??

Probably, in my case, this semester will be tough, but I want my English skill to improve in EDC3 class.

Last weekend, I went to Ebina (Kanagawa) to take part in meeting which is to learn Bible.
I joined in Thai's meeting.Why?? Because my friend wants.
Of course, I don't understand Thai but my friend Marie speaks Thai, so she taught me Thai numerals and greeting in the car.
It was very interesting!!
Thai people were very kind.
I was surprised that Chiba prefecture has more than 700 Thai people.
I started interesting Thai culture and custom.

I read a book "On the road", and I want to recommend this book.

This book was written gby Jack Kearouac.

The story has many characters because he meet many people during his trip.

So this story is in rhe age 1940s, when hitch-hiking was the trend.

Many young people go on a trip be themselves to seek their dreams.

I thought its like a journy for finding themselves, what they want to do in lifetime.

I believe this book is just for us because now is the time to consider where we goes next.

Some has dreams, but many others may seek it.

Now, we are on the road of our life.

Please reconsider our lifes, where is your distance.

This story has two main character.

The one is Rose Sayer, who become the African Queen later.
Another one is Charlie Allunut

She and her brother had lived in the African forests in the German colony of Central Africa.

There was far from other white men, trying to persuade the local people to accept Christianity.

People did not work, so their habit was to prey, asking God for help in the difficult lives.

One day, he was killed.

She thought Germans broke his heart when they took all the natives away.

I am not still to believe my friend married.

we have known each other from we are child,

Hello everyone.

This is Kasumi From edc2

I went to Hong Kong 4days with my friend.

We are member of Kyudo club of high school.

We are also good friend even thought we separated.

First, we went to Victoria peak to see night light view.

The view from there is very moved.

this picture is other place.

Along the river side, there are many people.

I was spoken to by Hong Kong man, he is very good at speak Japanese. He come to there every day and find Japanese to practice Japanese with Japanese people. I respect him!

Next day we went to Macao by ferry.

It is very warm and wind is very comfortable.

That is one of world heritage.

After Church was fired, only this wall is lasted.

I have wanted to see this, when I saw that, I feel like crying!

Next we went to Macao tower.

In Macao tower people can walk out of tower.

I was very surprised that.

People can jump from there.

My dream is do it in the future.

This trip is very impressive memorial for me.

Today, I would like to talk about book I read during the spring vacation.

The name of the book is 'Detective Work' by John Escott. This is a kind of crime fiction.
This book is divided into 11 chapters.
It is interesting that hero is an average student who works at museum. He is not great detective!

One fine day, a costly necklace was stolen by someone at museum where hero works.
Museun workers doubt that hero stolen the necklace. Therefore, hero try to prove his innocence.

The story is very exciting. I was surprised at the real criminal's identity.
This book is easy to read because there are not so many difficult words, so I recommend you to read!

Hi!

This is Kiwa.

I went to many places in this spring vacation. I came back from New Zealand and arrived at Narita air port, so it was good chance for me to go shightseeing in Tokyo. It has been 5 years since I visited to Tokyo last time.

I stayed at Hotel near the Tokyo tower. At the night I want to Tokyo tower and walked around it. Tokyo tower was illuminated. At 12 o'clock, I saw the moument to go out the light.

Next day, I went to Harajuku to go to Forever 21 and H&M.

I was looking forward to go there, but there are too many people in that shops.

I couldn't stand to being there for long time.

Therefore, I want to go harajuku on weekday because it can do some shopping easy.

Today is start of new grade!
I'm little nervous.
Because this year will start seminar and job hunting.
The start of new thing will be stress for me.

I have read the book.
And I will write about the book.

I read "LITTLE WOMEN".
This book was written by louisa may alcott.
Japanese says "Wakakusa monogatari".
I was surprised that this book was written about 150 years ago.
There were the movie and animation and comic of this story.

This story's main characters are 4 girls.
They are Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy.
Their house is not rich.
But, they are very kind and happy.
They love their family.
But, their father doesn't live together because of the war.

This story is divided into 14 chapters.
The first story is about four sisters and next is Christmas day's story.
Christmas day, they bought each presents for their mother
by theirself.
But this Christmas day is of course, there was not their father.
Nevertheless, they spend good time.
But, the end of this book, we can know more happy their Christmas day.

This book was written about some events and trouble.
These stories is fun and the end of the chapter, maybe we
feel mild feeling.
In addition, this book is easy to go on reading.
If you want to read foreign book, I will recommend this book.

The other day was entrance examination.
Therefore, I went to the SUAC to join the club for freshman.
The day was not so good weather.
I remembered, the day of last year's entrance examination was
very good weather.
This year was cloudy.
But, cherry blossoms were at their best.

When I watched many freshmans, I remembered two years ago.
I thought that "Two years ago, I also had a entrance examination."
I missed my memory of the day of entrance examination.
At that time, I felt pleasure and stress.
But, at once, I expected my university life.
I thought that "They also felt these feeling."
And I want them to enjoy their university life.
My university life is so full.
The new grade will start .

Did you finish preparing for this semester?
I am very nervous because...
I must get up early.

I finished reading a book at last.
I want to introduce ‘THE LOST WORLD JURASSIC PARK’. This book was written by Michael Crichton.

Probably, you know, because this novel became a movie.
Those series are very famous and popular.

This novel's story differs from the movie's one a great deal!
I think novel's story is more interesting than movie's one.

This novel is sequel of ' JURASSIC PARK' so I recommend you read this novel before you read THE LOST WORLD.

Six years after the secret disaster on Jurassic Park, dinosaurs were destroyed and the Park was closed. However, It seems that those dinosaurs is living still alive... Is it true?
The key location is 'Site B'. This locate is as factory which product dinosaur. Richard Levine went to Costa Rica to research Site B. He became know this locate, but he became go missing
Malcolm, Sarah and Jack knew Levine's missing through radiotelegraphy.
They and 2 kids went to island. Lewis Dodgson who is spy of Biosyn -company also followed secretly. Lewis wanted to rob the dinosaur's egg.
After this scene also began to battle of human VS dinosaurs.
In Movie's story, adult Tyrannosaurus rampage around San Diego but novel's story is different.
Finally, the survivors could escape this island and dinosaurs became die due to spread of the prions.

I want to tell you more about battle of human VS dinosaurs, but if you read book, you do not have enjoyment, so please read this book!!

This spring vacation, I changed something.
For example, I changed my hair style. I cut my hair!!

I begin to work new part time job. I have worked U-LORK in Yurakugai.

This year, I 'm 3rd grade student, so I start job hunting.
It's hard for me to do, but I should do that.
I don't decide my future and work, but I have a lot of dream.
One of my dream is news caster. So I decided to go to announce school this year.
Announcer is famous and popular work, so it is difficult to get to work.
So I want to be that and I challenge to become an announcer.

However, I don't think that this is my goal. In university days, I want to challenge something.

Hi.
This is Kiwa again.

I really enjoyed this vacation. I went to Korea with my friend in March.
At that time, Seoul was so cold, the temperature was only 3 degrees. However, we visited some famouse places in Seoul such as the official residence, Seoul tower and duty free shops.

Seoul tower is on the top of the mountain and 236.7 meters high. We could see the whole city from observatory and the setting sun. There had a mood of romance, so there were many couples.

Besides, We really enjoyed Korean food.
We could eat many kind of side dishes for free.
My faviorit side dish is Kimchi, so I ate many helpings of Kimchi.
After that, I had a stomchache, but soon I got well.

In Korea, we could also enjoy shopping!!! There are some big duty free shops in Seoul. Many japanese woman come to Korea to buy cheap cosmetics. In the shops, many people bought too many cosmetics like a sale.

This time was only thiree days trip, but I want to stay longer and see Korean real life in the next time. I am planing to visit to Korea again to meet my friend of meeting NZ.

I went somewhere near the city.
In there, I stayed my host family's house and went to language school.

She is so cute and fashionable.

I would like to introduce a book.

The title is "DESERT MOUNTAIN SEA".
There are three real adventure stories of three different women.

Robyn Davidson walked across the desert with her dog Diggity and four camels in Australia. She started from Alice Springs to the west coast. The journey was 2800 kilometers.

Arlene Blum climbed one of the highest mountain in the world. The name of the mountain was Annapurna. She was a leader of a team to climb the mountain, and the members of the team were all women.

Naomi James sailed around the world alone. The journey was 55,000 kilometers. She started from Dartmouth on September 9th, 1977 and came back there on June 8th, 1978.

I think these three women really enjoy their lives. However, in contrast, I have not done what I really want to do yet. The life is short, so I want to challenge something special like them!

Have you ever heard the name of the theme park 'Kacyoen'?

At Kacyoen, visitor can see birds and water birds much closer than zoo. In addition, visiters can enjoy beautiful flower.

I visited here with my mother and her friend and the daughter of her friend.

My mother and her friend were classmate when they were junior college stdents.

The daughter of my mother's friend and I are same age, so we enjoyed various kinds of talk very much.

We lunched on smorgasbord under the beautiful flower!

Kacyoen at Kakegawa is easy to go by car because it's near from interchange.

Therefore, I recommend you to visit here when you have time!

Today, I would like to report about The story of the Internet-level 5.

The story of the Internet was written by Stephen Bryant, and it is nonfictional book. Today, many people depend on the Internet. I could not imagine the world without computers because I use the computer and cellphone everyday. People got a lot of information from the Internet. Therefore, this is very useful and needful tool for our life. This book show us history of the Internet and the future.

Firstly, the story was talked about Cold War. According the book, US developed scientific technology during the War. The high technology efforts contributed today's our computer life.
Secondly, I learned about Yahoo! famous web page from this book. Yahoo! had created by Jerry Yang and Dave Filo. They thought the name 'Yataghan!' 'Yankee' 'Yang'. Finally, they liked the sound of 'Yahoo!'. They made original site 'Jerry's Guide to the World Wide Web' from net surfing.
Finally, the author said that more people use the Internet, as it cheaper and faster and easier to use. People can not imagine the future of the Internet. They will change greatly more than people expected.

Atami trip

I can't believe most of the spring vacation has already passed! How was your vacation?

On February 18-19th, I went to Atami with my friends.

There are not so many tourist attraction, however, atmosphere of city was very good.

This is a picture of shopping arcade in front of the station.

I was surprised when I went to the hotel because the size of room was much bigger than I had expected!

I enjoyed delicious food and hot springs and talk with my friend.

I am sorry that I could not have time to see Kawazu zakura, I want to visit Atami again!

my stay in France

Hi, this is Eri from EDC2.

This spring vacation, I stayed in France for a month. Not to forget the experience, I would like to write about it.

I stayed with a local family there, and I went to a school to study French on weekday.
There was a student who came from the Czhech Republic in my house.

During staying there, I experienced various things.
I made macarons with friends who study French in the same school.
We made macarons with flavors of chocolate, apple, pistachio, and raspberry.

The last day of staying, I made curry and rice for my host family.
I think they were pleased about the dinner.

My host family was really kind, and the Czhech student was also nice person. I love them!
I could talk in French everyday.

I visited Paris too. I went to main sightseeing spots there.
Of course Paris is a beautiful city, but Rouen is comfortable place to live.
I had a wonderful time at Rouen and Paris, so I really want to visit France again.
If you have a chance to go to France, I recommend you to visit not only Paris but also Rouen!

I have read the book 'The Phantom of the Opera' in this spring vacation.
This book is penguin readers level 5.

The book's author is Gaston Leroux.
He was born in Paris and he experienced various jobs.

There is a story of secrecy and fear at the Paris Opera.
The Phantom is extraordinary thin and his coat hangs on his skeleton. His eyes are just two big, black hole. So he has the face of death.

In the middle of rehearsal, major role was died, so Christina stands in.
After the play, She is received with cheers and she meets Raoul again.
She falls in love with him and Phantom falls in love with Christina.
However Phantom got away her at the basement.
In this place, She knows about the phantom.
And phantom killed a lot of people because he loves Christina.

I thought that this story is mystery at first.
However in the fact, this story is unhappy love story.

This book became a movie and drama.

My Favorite French Artist

Hello this is Shunsuke again.

This time, I'll introduce my favorite French artist to you. The name of the artist is Grégory Lemarchal.

Regrettably, he has already died because of his congenital disease. It was 2007, and he was 23 years old. What he was young!!

Of course, I still like his music very much.
I bought one of his CDs at the store in the street of Champs-Elysees in Paris. The title is "La Voix d'un ange".→

And I introduce one of his songs, "Même Si". In this song, there are two singers, one is Grégory Lemarchal and the other is Lucie Silvas. Grégory sings in French, and Lucie sings in English. That's why I recommend you to listen to that. Of course, the original version is sung all in French. I think that this song is a good material to learn foreign music culture and the languages for me and the one who learns both English and French.

This spring vacation, my club, Girls futsal clun did many activities.

Recent biggest event was a picnic under the cherry blossoms!

Also we held a game with gladuate.
We played futsal with them.
It was very nice game!!

Spring is season of start.
I will be junior, and Seminar will start.
I think it will be so interesting lecture, and I will be needed to study more.
It may be busy days but I'm looking foward to study more.
I believe that my actions approximate to my future.

Hello everybody.
This is Shunsuke Igarashi from EDC2.

I have finished reading the book level 4.
The title of the book is "The Hound of the Baskvilles".

It is one of Sherlock Holmes' stories and the author is, of course, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle that you probably know well.

In this story, there is a legend that the horrible hound lives in somewhere in the large moor which is near the house of Sir. Baskervilles. And it is said that the hound killed Sir Charles Baskerville who was the head of the Baskerville estate many years ago.
And Sir Henry Baskerville, he is the nephew of Sir Charles and the heir of the Baskerville estate, is targeted as next prey of the hound.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson try to expose a secret of the hound of the Baskvilles.

As a normal series, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson try to search out the secret together, but in this story, they don't do that partway because of Holmes' other cases. However, Dr. Watson continued sending the letter about his investigations to Holmes. And they are very useful for Holmes.

How was your spring vacation?

Finally, I finished reading my book.

This book has three stories.

First story is about a ghost living in haunted house and a family came from America to live abroad in U.K.
The family are enjoying to live in haunted house but the ghost is not. He love to surprise people in spooky way, but family does not surprise.
The family's children tries to trick the ghost.

The second story is about a man and fortune teller.
The man has told unfortunate thing from fortune teller and he tries the bad fortune to come true.
It is surreal and interesting story.

Third is a mystery story which has occurred in 19th century. The title of the story was interesting and this was the shortest one in the book.

Presentation of town management

Last month I had a presentation at Town management center in Hamamatsu.

I had studied about town management, mainly activation od shopping arcade since last summer.

This presentation was corpus for me!!

The theme of this presentation was "How can we do to activate Sakana-machi arcade from the view of marketing".

We did some investigations for presentation.

From the hearing for owners of shops, we could found many good point of town arcade.

There is essential place to communicate with many people.

I thought the fact is pretty lonely that these days many people go to big box shops just because of they are convenient.

I want to take action to activate my town from now on.

After that, we went to karaoke.

Thailand Restaurant

Did you enjoy your vacation?

Last week, I went to Thailand .......

It is joke:)

I went to Thai Restaurant with my friends Marie and Masayo.
Marie took us this restaurant.
She speak Thai very well.
She has visited Thailand many time, and she stayed there for 2years.

This restaurant is in Nishimoncho- Shizuoka-city.
Do you know this town? This town is in near the Shizuoka station( about 15 min by bike)

This restaurant's name is 'A-loi A-loi' .this means' Yummy-Yummy'

Thai foods are very spicy food.
Look at this pictures, most left food is very spicy!!
So we could not eat all of it.

Thai rice is more shape than Japanese rice.
Thai has also Glutinous rice( mochi-gome) but way to eat is not same. First, Thai people wad up this rice by hands.

We had good time and I lean Thai culture. For example, how to eat Thai food, disposition of Thai, Buddhism culture, thinking of Thai people and so on.

I went to Kyoto with my friend.

I went to many places.
First, I went to Ginkaku temple.
I have been to there when I was junior high school student.
That time, to be a honest, I could not recognize good point of there
because I was still fifteen.
Now I very like Ginkaku temple.
Because of beautiful river and plant.
I want to there again.

In the night, from Heianjingu to Kiyomizu temple
There are light up!
I could see romantic landscape at there.

Next day, I went to Arashiyama.
I took picture front of river.
My favorite place is Daikaku temple.
This temple is not very famous, but I think this temple is most beatiful in Kyoto.
This temple was build about 1000years ago.
People can feel as back to the past.

I ride bicycle to Arashiyama station.
It is sunny day and warm so it is so comfortable.

I can spend good time there.
I recognize Japanese people can be pride of Japanese culture.

Shizuoka Festival

Hello, everyone. This is yuka from EDC2.

Shizuoka Festival took place in Shizuoka last weekend.
I went to Shizuoka city and Sunpu Castle. Sunpu Castle park was main place of the festival, so I saw many people and various booths in the park. I ate strawberry candy like apple candy. It was my first time! Candy was very very sweet and delicious. I want to eat again.(><)I and my mother saw Mr. Kakei Toshio who was top star of the festival. He is a famous actor and he is from Hamamatsu. My mother went to same high school in Hamamatsu. She was so excited and screamed his name. I was embarrassed...

I bought Koban 500yen. People could use it in the booths as money. I enjoyed the festival!

Trip to Kawane

I'm Miho from EDC2.

How about your spring vavation?

On April 1st, I went to Kawane with my friends.

This is Sasamato station at Oigawa railway.

On the way, we could beautiful cherry blossom.

Kawane is filled with rich nature.

Thanks to nature, we could relax.

This is the cottage where we stayed.

There is the cottage near Sasamato station.

There were a lot of people on this place.

We spent one day in this place.

If the day were sunny day, we could play badminton.

There are kitchen, open-air bath in the cottage.

I thought that we can live this cottage.

This cottage is wooden house.

We ate a hot pot cooked at the table.

It's delicious. We enjoyed eating.

However, this dish is not included Udon or rice.

We wanted to eat Udon or rice when we had finished eat.

So we decided to bring Udon or rice oneself when we come to there again.

This trip is pleasant memories for me.

This spring vacation, I went to various places.

Also I could enjoy every place or event.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.

What about your spring vacation?
Are you having a good time?
I went to Hamamatsu castle park to see cherry blossoms with my club members recently.

The day before it, I had a hailstorm (hailstorm is grains of ice!) in Iwata.
So, I worried the weather and whether we could hold the hanami party.
However, it was very good day.

I bring side dishes.
But, members and I ate soon!

It was left only parsley....
And my family runs Japanese sweets shop since Edo era.
My father made us kashiwamotchi.

A piece of cherry blossom is on it:)

It is not too much that Japanese spring is cherry blossom.
We had a very very good time.

My seminar trip

Hi, I am Sayaka Yamada from EDC2.
I want to tell about my seminar trip.

I am going to take a seminar in sports culture.

So, my seminar teacher took me and other students to Nagano to snowboard.

I had been second time to snowboard in this season.
I was tired not so much and I could step up a little bit:)

I could not get on the lift machine well at the fist time.
I could get on it well in this time.
To my surprised, my seminar teacher made good weather.When I arrived at hotel, prepared to snowboard, and went to the a skiing slope, it was clouded and very cold.

However, she went to the top of the hill with the lift machine and started to snowboard, it started to be sunny!

my small trip to Nara

Hi, everyone.
I'm Eri from EDC2.

The day before yesterday, I went to Nara with my younger sister.

First, we visited Naramachi. There are many old Japanese houses.
We had lunch at a restaurant in Naramachi.

　　　　　　　　　　　　　
After that we went to Todai-ji.
I have visited there 2 years ago, but this was first time for her.
I like the Great Buddha of Nara very much because it makes my feelings calm.
We could see a nice view of Nara city from Nigatsu-do.

I wanted to visit Kohuku-ji because there are some statues which I really wanted to see.
However we didn't have enough time to see it.

We stopped at Kyoto on the way home.
I love Kyoto tower!
I was satisfied to buy yatsuhashi.

We want to go to Nara again, and also Kyoto!

Book review

A new school semester will start soon.
I am very sad and nervous.
I don’t want to get up early…

I have finished reading a book.
I want to introduce ‘Cranford’. This book was written by Elizabeth Gaskell.

Cranford is the name of town. It is held by ladies. Ladies are unfashionable and prefer old ways. In addition, Cranfordians (residents of Cranford) consider that it is vulgar to give anything expensive to eat and drink. In other words, Cranfordians think spending money is vulgar. However, people must not talk about being poor.

There are some stories of Cranford in this book. It is mainly about human relations; for example, they are friend relations, family problem and love. Cranfordians sometimes have quarrels. But they solve human relations problems. In the end, Cranfordians cooperate and help one of the Cranfordians. Then all Cranfordians live comfortably .

This book is easy to read and fun. I could learn the importance of cooperation from this book. If you have time, please read this book.

Hokkaido2

Hello!
This is Sachiko from EDC2.

Today is April Fools Day!! Do you play tricks on someone?!

I want to continue a talk about my trip to Hokkaido.

On the final day, we visited Hakodate.
First, we visited the convent. I was not interested in convent or sister. But, I am interested in that by hearing about the story from the guide.

Next, we visited Goryoukaku. We went up the tower and viewed it. It was very nice view!! I wanted to learn the history more!!
After that, we visited Hakodate Motomati. We could see town hall or church... many attractive buildings.

Then, we visited Hakodate Asaichi (morning market). We ate Kaisenndon. I don't like raw fish so much... But, it is very delicious!!
Finally, we visited Onuma Kouen. But, we could not see the beautiful view (my mother said it is beautiful view!!) because of terrible snowstorm...

The weather was terrible snowstorm... We had a plan to go back New Chitose Airport by bus. But, the expressway was blocked by the snowstorm. So, we change from the bus to the train. We could arrived at the airport safely, but we didn't have enough time to buy souvenirs!!
Then we checked in, but many flights delayed because of snowstorm... Our flight also had about 90 minutes delay.
We arrived at Chubu Centrair International Airport around 11 at night. So we could not go back home... We stayed at comic cafe for the night. Then we went back home early morning.

Some problems happened, but I enjoyed very much!! Of course, it is nice to go to Hokkaido in winter, but I think Hokkaido is the best place to visit all year around!!

I want to go to Hokkaido again!!

Kakegawa flower and bird park

Hello, I'm Yumi from EDC2.

Today is start of April!
Spring vacation is coming to an end.
I'm so sad.

The day before yesterday, I went to the Kakegawa flower and bird park
with my club's members.
We assembled at the Kakegawa station at about one o'clock.
And, we went to the Kakegawa flower and bird park by the senior's car.
The Kakegawa flower and bird park is near the Kakegawa station.
The day is so crowded with many families.

At the first, we saw many ducks and penguins and pelicans and so on...
We could see their animals at very close range.
If we try to touch their animals, we can touch!
But, I think we should not touch.

Next, we saw many birds.
There were various kinds of bird.
Birds were very colorful and cute!
Especially, owls was so cute and there were various kinds.
But, there were many birds that I don't know and see.
Their birds were flying freely, therefore some people were settled by birds.
My friends were tried to be settled on their arm.

Next, we saw flamingo and water birds.
Some water birds were outdoors.
And, we watched flying show of the hawk and the owl there.
The hawk was very big and powerful!
In addition, the hawk was flying near the head.
I was very surprised.

We were this park for about four hours.
I enjoyed this park so much!
We went out this park and we went for a dinner.
After the dinner, we played the billiards and table tennis for some hours.
When I came home, it was past 24 o'clock!
We played all day long and the day was very full.

Vacation

How is ur vacation?
Through this blog, I know You are enjoying your spring vacations.
You went to many places including foreign countries, so I'm very envious you.

My vacation is not so good, because I was not in good shape.
When the ending of February for the begging of this month (March) I took asthma, so I could not go out about 2weeks. When I was child, I had childhood asthma but I has not taken it since I was junior high school student, so I was surprise.
I slept very little because it is difficult for me to breath and, I could not suppress a cough.

Now, I am in very goooood shape!!
Nowadays, it is pretty cold, so keep ur condition.

Today I went to Hamamatsu art museum with my mom.

All of the picture were interesting and it attracted me a lot!

After looking the art museum, we took a little walk.

The flowers were beautiful in the Hamamasu castle park.

The picture is plum flower. It was pink and pretty.

The wind is a little cold these days. Don't catch a cold!!

Hokkaido

Hi, everyone!
This is Sachiko from EDC2.
How is your vacation? I read your blogs and I thought many students visit some places and enjoy spring vacation.

I went to Hokkaido with my friends. We leave Chubu Centrair International Airport on March 25th. We had stayed in Hokkaido for 3 days.

On the first day, we visited Otaru. We saw Otaru unga and walked around there. As soon as we takes off the bus, it started to snow. We met a kind man there! He told us something about Otaru! We ate Sushi for the lunch. Scallop is very delicious!!
At the night, we stayed at a hotel in Asahikawa. We had the dinner at a bar in Asahikawa. We ordered some dishes. Of course, potato is very delicious and scallop is also delicious!!

On the second day, we visit Asahikawa and Hakodate. In the morning, we visited some museum in Asahikawa and Asahiyama zoo. In Asahiyama zoo, we saw many animals! We saw wolf, too. We were surprized at the information... A wolf died because of fighting with another wolf there... Anyway, I will show you my most favorite picture, penguin! It is eating snow!!

After that, we went to Hakodate by bus to see its night view. When we arrived at Mt. Hakodate, it is nice weather to see night view. But, when we arrived at the top of the mountain we could not see its night view by snowstorm. I was very sad...
At the night, we had buffet supper at the hotel. They are very delicious! I want to eat some more, but I didn't have enough time to eat. After that, we soaked in a hot spring at the hotel. We enjoyed open-air bath, too!!

We relaxed at that night without anticipating a trouble on next day...

Afterwords, I will talk about next day.

I don't want to believe that this spring vacation will end soon.

I have been working at the restaurant near Suac since last year.

In my part time job, I learned a lot of thing.

On March 25th, I held a good-by party for my coworker.

The girl who are standing next to me leave our work in order to go to university.

In the day, we were talking a lot of thing. For example, about the future, about the love and so on. I enjoyed talking with them. Also we enjoyed eating delicious food. We ate "Kimuchi Nabe" and potate salad and Chineze noodle and so on.

I want to gather same member and coworker who can't come this party.

My Trip to France!

How is your spring vacation?

I have been to France from 16th March to 22th March.
This is the first time for me to go abroad!!
I had a lot of worries.

I stayed in Paris and saw the sights of Paris.
For example, I went to the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dome, Musée du Louvre and so on...

All sights were so nice!

I was moved in Musée d'Orsay in particular.

In addition, I went to Versailles and Roean.
I enjoyed very much!

I was helped to go sightseeing by many people.

Thanks to them, I could enjoy in France without big troubles.

When I misunderstood trains, people helped me kindly.

I deeply appreciated their cooperation!

I want to go abroad next long vacation!

Before next trip, I want to make progress in English and French!

Driver's license

How about your spring vacation?

I had been to the driving school for a month.
And, I could get a drivier's license!
In February, I spend much time to get a driver's license.
Therefore, I could not play with my friends.
But, I could lead a full days during going to the driving school.

Firstly, I was afraid of driving a car and I worried about the exam.
But, after graduation, I want to drive a car!
During this spring vacation, I want to go for a drive.

Tomorrow is circule's day!
I'm looking forward to go.
But, maybe tomorrow will be the last day that I can play "ultimate"
with my almost seniors.
I feel lonely a little, but I want to enjoy!

Okinawa

Hello, everyone. This is Yuka from EDC 2.
I have been to Okinawa for five days from Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport. I went to Okinawa with my best friend. One of the purpose of this trip is to take Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport. I felt it was good airport because it was very simple. I could pass the gate smoothly. Big airport is complicated and crowded. Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport is small and surrounded nature. Passenger can look at Green carpet.

The temperature in Okinawa is hotter than Shizuoka. I wore T-shirt and beach sandal. Of course, sunglasses and hat were needed.
I went famous aquarium where big sharks were kept. People enjoy dolphin show. My best spot is touching place. I like touching sea cucumber and starfish. It was soft and flexible. I felt good!

How is your vacation? I join the brass band club to practice for the spring concert or some events.

Yesterday, I finished reading the book "The Thirty-Nine Steps" written by John Buchan. The level of this book is 4 by Oxford Bookworms Library. This story is mysterious. So I enjoyed reading this book! I want to tell you the story of "The Thirty-Nine Steps".

Richard Hannay had spent in Africa and came back in Britain. But, nothing exciting ever seems to happen in England, so he is feeling bored.
One day, Scudder, who lives in Richard's flat, visited Hannay. After that, when Hannay returned to his flat, Scudder was killed... 'There was a long knife through his heart.' So, Hanny was suspected of murder.

Hanny run away and try to solve the mystery. Then, he meets some people and he talks with them. They are very kind and help him, but they may not be true supporter...

It is very attractive mysterious story! If you like mysterious story, I recommend you to read this book!

I went to shanghai 3/4~3/7 with my friend.
We have known each other for 14 years. We are good friend.

first, I went to 周荘.
there is beautiful river which was made by people long time ago.

I am very attracted by the view.

Next day, I went to 蘇州（suzhou).
Suzhou is very famous for embroidery.
Suzhou embroidery is made by silk. that is so beautiful so i want to buy. However that is too expensive. over 100000 yen !

I went to TAIHU. That is very big lake.
I ride on cabin cruiser.

This is in Hanshensi(寒山寺) and
Yuyuan(豫園)　Our guide read Chinese famous poem. He is very cool and kind!

Movie NIght

On Friday night, I went to theator to watch movie with my friend.

She mow lives in Kyoto.

We watched Darren-Shan. It was preview of movie.

The story was interesting and a little spooky.

After the movie me and my friend went to Mc. Donald and talked about university lives, friends, job hunting and so on.

We aid good bye on 9 o'clock. It was fun to meet with her.

My club trip

Do you enjoy your spring vacation and have a good time?

I have seen blooming cherry blossom which blooms earlier than others.
Spring is coming soon!

By the way, I want to talk about my club trip.
I went to Nagano to play snow board with my club friends.

Even the news that it snowed broadcasts in Shizuoka.
However, it was covered with the snow in Nagano.

My club friends and I had not played snow board for one year.
So, we worried about that whether we could play it, or not.
However, we could play it soon.

To my surprised, Nagano have a culture that people eat a raw horse!

Sushi sold in Service Area.

Though I was very tired because I had not play it for one year, I had a very good time thanks for my club friend!

To tell the truth, I went to Nagano again to plays now board next one week:)

Je suis allé au mont saint Michel et Paris récement.
(I went to the Mt. st-Michel and Paris recently.)

Apprendre le français, c'est très difficile pour moi et pour les japonais aussi, mais c'est interessant de parler avec les français en français.

My Spring Part Time Job

How is your spring vacation?

The students at Colorado College came to Hamamatsu on February 20.
In addition, they had stayed at SUAC student's home for 6 days. Also, they studied at SUAC, and went to some places.

A student, Christina stayed at my home.
I live alone in Hamamatsu, so it is good chance for me because my family does not accept that a visitor from foreign country stay at home, they cannot speak English and they are very shy. It was very good experience for me!!

I imaged English all the time. So, I was tired and it is really good experience for me. But, I cannot speak English well. I am sad... If I could speak English better, I would make her more entertain.

However, I had a good time with her. I am very happy!!

Last day, we had a party at SUAC. After that, Colorado College students and SUAC students went to Karaoke. We had a very good time there! I took a movie. Please listen to a song by Colorado College students!! Do you know this song?!

Traveling in France

I am in France.
I have stayed my friend home.
I will stay in France for 3 weeks.

I went to many famous sightseeing place in France, for example the National Museun of nature, Basilique du Sacre-coeur at Paris, and Moulin-Rouge.

I was impressed by museun of nature because I have interested in dinosaurs and ancient times things.

In my french life...

Almost I speak English, because my friend speak English very well!
Of cause. I have tried speak French.

I can take a train alone!!
But, I have many worries.

I will stick it out, and I will enjoy french life!!

Yesterday, I went to Osaka to visit Universal Studios Japan again. I have been to USJ last September and I post USJ article on this blog. You know I am loving USJ! This time was pretty good for trip because ticket was inexpensive. Fortunately, it was not so crowded and cold.

My favorite character is Spider-man. He is cool cool cool!! This Ride is fantastic! I rode it first and last. I did not wait for riding because we ran at the open. I felt like marathon race...

Now, I am thinking of next USJ trip plan...★

My Fair Lady

How was the first day of new semester?

I took four classes today so I was tired a little!

This time, I will write a book review.

I have read a book called My Fair Lady.

The musical of this story was first seen in 1958 and the film was made in 1964 and they are very famous and popular even today so you might know this story.

This is the story of a poor young flower seller, Eliza Doolittle, and a professor Higgins who is interested in language and accents.

The young flower seller had an interesting London accent.

The professor Higgins decides to teach Eliza to speak better English.

He wants to change her from street girl to lady.

Through teaching Eliza, professor Higgins learn something important from her.

This story sometimes make you laugh and you can learn right English accent.

If you have not read this yet, I recommend you to read this!

The title is SKYJACK written by TIM VICARY.

Someday, American air plane was skyjacked by terrorist.
One of them is girl who was still twenty.
The girl has some problem about her family and her country. Two of business men were putted handcuffs by terrorist and pointed guns.
However one of business men persuaded her to stop skyjack.
I don’t say the end of story whether passengers was saved or not.
I realized the importance of danger of guns and highjack again.

Do you know this story? probabry you know it. This story became a movie.
In fact, I watched this movie before I read this book.

This book is one of boy's life story.
Oliver Twist is a boy who was born in orphanage because his mother died as soon as he was born.
His life was too harsh. In the orphanage or pickpocket’s hangout in London, he received cruel treatment.
However, He was honest and good natured so he got good chance.
This story gives me heart warming.
My favorite scene is he tried steal.

This story teach us it is important to do honestly

I like detective story so I like Conan Doyle but I like Agatha Christie than him. Most interesting novels are ‘Murder on the Orient Express’and ‘The A.B.C.Murders’ Do you know those novels? Those are very famous novels. ‘The A.B.C.Murders’ is used Japanese famous comic ‘Detective Conan’.

Let’s get back to the subject.
“The Return of Sherlock Holmes” is written Dr Watson’s eyes. Sherlock Homes has a very clever mind and he sometimes says black joke. His smooth talk hound criminal. This scene is my favorite scene.
My favorite story is ‘The Norwood Builder’. In the story, Sherlock Homes notices that no matter what little things. Thanks to his eyes, this case was arrived an unexpected result. I want to tell you about story and result but if I write result, you think this book is dull.

The title is "BLACK BEAUTY", and this was written by Anna Sewell.

Black Beauty is the name of this main character. This setting is 19th century when people use horses as a tool of carrying cabin baggage and people.
Environment of horses depended on their owner. Some was very kind, and the other was very bad-temper.

Black Beauty experienced many kinds of situations and owners, and he learned a lot of things.

The Last Lecture

Hi, everyone. I'm Yumika from EDC3. Classes start tomorrow.
Today I want to introduce the book named 'The Last Lecture' written by Rand Pausch.
The writer was a professor of Carnegie Mellon University. He had been diagnose with pancreatic cancer. That cancer is a terminal cancer, so his last lecture at his university bacame a last lecture of his life.
I watched his lecture on Youtube before. It was a little bit difficult to catch some English words sometimes, but the lecture was really great. I'm so impressed. This book is about that lecture. I could learn a lot of important things for my life from this book. I think this book will change your life and the way of our thiking about our life.
He gave his last lecture at his university, but it was not about a death or cancer, he gave lecture about such as dream and love.
In this book, I like the story of ' Be the first penguin'. In this story, he tells us the importance of challenge new things and the value of failures. I thought I followed his advice and change a small things in my daily life, my life might change better.
There is more great stories in this book, so if you are looking for a great book, I'll recommed this 'The last lecture'. I already read this book twice, but still can learn new important things every time I read this book. This book is a bible for my life.

I enjoyed this summer vacation!!!
I didn’t go in the distance; far, but many things happened in this summer.

I have been spending on part time job most of my summer vacation.

By the way, I read the book - Manchester United Kevin Brophy.

I chose this book because I like soccer. Manchester United are the biggest, richest, and most successful football club in the world. This is the team which David Becham belonged, who is famous soccer player.

Soccer is the sport which is called that everyone (player, audience and so on) cannot image which team wins by last seconds of the game. Manchester United have also its experience.

They had lost by the ninetieth minute (soccer game is over at ninetieth minute) 26 May, 1999.
The score was 0-1. However, they scored two goals in the last seconds of the game and won the game with 2-1! They also won Europe Championship! They had already won FA Cup and the league, so they become three times champion and the strongest team in the world.

It is said that there are 45,000 Manchester United fans and hundreds of fans from all over the world visit Old Trafford, Manchester , every year.

I went to the seaside with my soccer circle friends.

First, I practiced soccer. It was fine day and there were no cloud. Therefore it was comfortable to play soccer. To warm up, I climbed the hill. I saw the ocean from the top of the hill. The view was wonderful!

Second, I had a barbecue and play a sparkler. It was so special because it was after practicing soccer and I had it with my precious friends.

Finally, I talked with everyone all night long and stayed up late.

By the way, next morning, a rainbow appeared.

This trip become the memory I never forget.

I had a good time.

Today is last day of summer vacation. Did you enjoy your summer vacation?

This month, I went to driving school.
At last, I could get car license!! It was difficult for me to get it. I am not good at driving. When I drove on the street for the first time, a driving instructor said, ‘Please do not kill me!! I do not want to go hospital. I want to go home safely.’ Probably, my drive was very dangerous.
I spend much time to take temporary driver’s license. When I took driving test, two of instructors said me again and again ‘Are you OK? Have you finished test?’ Their faces was worry and uneasy. When I took final graduation exam, their faces was same. I was so happy shed tears of joy to pass the test.

Through the driving school, I understood it is important safety drive.

Today I went shopping with my friend. I bought some clothes and a black hat.

By the way, I read "The House of Stairs" in September. This book is revel 4.
This book's writer is Barbara Vine and it is a pen name of Ruth rendell.
She was born in 1930 in London.

Main character are Bell Sanger and Elizabeth. One day Elizabeth sees Bell by accident. She remembers the past events. and Bell is a mystery and strange woman. She lived in house which was called the house of stairs once with Elizabeth and other people. and one of them was murdered.
As read this book, we can know that what really happened.

This story is difficult for me. So I can't understand the story in detail.

Last Wednesday, I saw a famous japanese actor Kenichi Matsuyama at Hamamatsu station. Do you know him?
My younger sister likes him very much.
He came to TOHO Cinemas at ZAZA city to advertise his new cinema, but my sister couldn't get the ticket.
However, we could saw him! We were very lucky.

By the way, I want to write about a book, "Love Actually".
There are many characters in this book, so it was very hard for me to read.
I am weak in remembering names of characters.

The story of this book is set in London, and Christmas season.
The characters are the prime minister, a novelist, a former rock star and so on...
"Love, actually, is all around us." I like this sentence.
There is the film "Love Actually", and many famous British actors performed in the film.
I have never seen it, so I want to see it around Christmas season.

I cannot believe that today is last day of our summer vacation !
Today I had a part time job but I was late because I overslept !!!!!!!!!
Actually I had to leave for Shizuoka station until 9:00 but I woke up at 9:40.

Yokohama and My friends!!

Hi, everyone. I’m Natsuki from EDC3.
I went to Yokohama about 1 week ago with my seminar’s friends. Kasumi and Hitomi wrote about it. It was really good and lunch was very delicious!! I want to go there again.

Next day, I met my friends. They were same high school and club. One of them lives in Tokyo and other lives in Yamanashi, so I saw them after a long separation. We had a lunch and talked a lot. Then we went Shizuoka airport and saw night view in Kanaya. It was very beautiful and I took some pictures. I had a really good time this summer vacation.

Hi! This is Sayaka from EDC1. I read a book. The title is "Lorna Doone". It is level 4.

This story's hero is John Ridd. When he was 12 years old, his father was murdered by the Doones. The Doones are dangerous robbers and murderers. John decided to take revenge for them.

When he was 14 yeas old, he met Lorna Doone, one of the enemies, and fell in love.

When he was 21 years old, John and Lorna met again, but she was pressed for marriage by Carver Doone. So John rescued her and her servant. Carver and the Doones pursued her, and the battle broke out. But John and his companion won!

Unfortunately, however, another trouble arose. Lorna is a famous rich woman in England! So she left for England and lived away from John. John took back her and holded a wedding ceremony. However, Carver fired Lorna, and she was wounded. Fortunately, she was saved, and John and Lorna lived happily together.

It is nice love story. I couldn't stop reading. I recommend you to read this book!

Hello, this is Hitomi from EDC3. I'm very very very nervous coz it is the LAST day of summer vacation. Now, I feel like a pupil on August 31st.

I did lots of things in this vacation. I joined a internship, went to many places, went shopping, and turned 21 years. From fall, most of juniors have to do job-hunting. I think this year's winter and spring break won't be holidays. It was good that I had a really good summer vacation:D

I went to Yokohama as a seminar trip. Some of you know it by Kasumi's article. It was a nice trip! We enjoyed Chinese food as lunch. Kasumi chose the restaurant and booked. thx <3

These days, I am crazy about japanese comedy.
A comedy program " The red theater" is especially funny!

By the way, I read a book. The title is "How to be an Alien".
However, this book is not about the way of being an alien. "An alien" is the English in this book, so this book is about the English.

The writer of this book was born in Hungary and came to London.
He is funny about the things which English people do.

According to this book, the weather is the most important subject for English people, but people in Europe say that he is a boring person who talks about the weather.
However, Japanese people also like talking about the weather.
I think the English and the Japanese have some common points.

If you read this book, you can know English strange aspects.

Hi, this is Asae from EDC 1.

Yester day was my last day of internship in Hamamatsu-city assembly.

I experienced this program for about one month.

This was so fresh memory!! City assembly was unknown place for me.

I am studying policy, but city assemply was practical place for study.

I did internship like an aide of a assembly member of Hamamatsu-city.

I acted with young assembly member, he was so young, 27 years old!

Job of assembly member were so many and various, for example: attend regular assemblies, local activity where they take charge of, study about municipal city goverment or social problem, inspection... so many!!

Before this intern, I had an image that assembly members are just come it over to citizens.

After this, my image destroyed so much.

They did hard working.

They worked so desperately for better life of citizens.

They looks so busy and tried to seek out best ways for people.

Many people depends in assembly memebers, and members come through with them.

I really respect them.

This experience was so precious in this summer memory.

I will introduce about a book "Gradiator".

This story is about a man who called "Maximus".

Maximus is a general soldier in acient times in Rome.

He has family, wife and children.

After his duty, to buttle againisit enemies, he was supposed to live happily with his family.

Just because of unreasonable reason of "Ceasar", who were in highest status, Maximus's destiny had changed to bad direction.

So it was the crazy age that man in high atatus overused their power.

Now, it's unbelieveable way of society!!

How cruel that days were.

Unfortunately, Maximus died as Emperor encouraged to.

In the end, he couldn't live with his family, his hope didn't come true.

Through the story, there are many scenes to see great way of life of Maximus.

His life were so sorrowful, but he was so wonderful!

There are also movie "Gdadiator" which awarded as Academy award!

Hi,again! I'm Yumika from EDC. I want more summer vacation, but it is not so hot these days. Autumn is coming soon! Already came? Anyway, let's enjoy a few left day.

I'll show you the pictures of Izu. I went to Izu for my zemi trip. It was so much fun. We stayed a hotel(ryokan) which is in front of the sea. The sea was really beautiful. You can see the picture. Right? It's so beautiful.
At dinner time, We ate lot's of sashimi and delicious foods. I was sooooo happy:D
After dinner, We did fire works. I could see a lot of stars in the night sky.
Next morning, We had a hirose sensei's class. After that, we headed to the station.
Izu's air is fresh and clean. Izu has really nice place, so If you have time, Please go to Izu.
I had a great time with my friends at Izu.

Internship

Hi, everyone! I'm Yumika from EDC3. School starts soon. I'm looking forward to seeing you all of you guys!

Today, I'll tell you about my Internship. I worked at HICE for 3 weeks. It was really great experience for me. I learned a lot of new things every single day. It was totally different from university's life. I met many people from all over the world.

I did various kind of things. Mainly we taught Kanji to students from Brazil, Peru and Philippine. They worked really hard. I was so impressed by the students. I thought I have to work harder when I saw the students. While I was working at HICE, I knew the tough situation of non Japanese people in this worse economy.

I'm really glad to be able to learn lots of new things and important things during my internship.

I'll give you advice for 1st year 2nd year student that internship will be a really great opportunity to know lots of new things for your life.

The title of the book is "The Full Monty" .

The hero of a this story is 6 men who is looks depressed. They began to strip show to make money.
They has many problem; family problem, conjugal problem, unemployment, homosexuality, gender, and ethnic group. This book wrote about modern problem, so it is common problem today.
However, this books hero has positive thinking every time.

This book is level 4, but I enjoyed reading so this is a comedy.

The title of the book is "British Life" .

This book write about many UK information; the royal family, face of business, the British and sport, and the British Holiday, and so on.

I had interested in The British and Food page because I like cooking. This page has how to make a Scones. Scones are a popular and traditional part of British afternoon tea.

This book has many color pages and pictures.
If you go to UK, I recommend reading this book.

Nintendo DS

I like to play games.
Nintendo DS in particular is my favorite because we can bring it easily and play anywhere we want.

This summer vacation, I played two games.
One was Dragon Quest Ⅴ. This is the most popular version among many Dragon Quest series because only this version has the system of a wedding anniversary. And we have to choose one of brides among three girls. It is very difficult to choose one considering of human sympathy. That's why many people feel good of this game.

Second was Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days.
This game also have some series on Play Station 2, Play Station Portable, and Nintendo DS...etc

My friend in Tahiti wants to play this game, but this one is only Japanese version. So, people who don't understand Japanese can't play DS version.I was very surprised to hear that because there are some foreign language versions of this series.

In this summer, the new version of Dragon Quest series was sold in Japan.
It's Dragon Quest Ⅸ. I haven't bought this one yet, so I want to buy it and to play as soon as possible. However, second semester will begin soon, so I don't have enough time to play any games. That's too bad.

Anyway, I want to play some games when I have free time to do so.

Originally this is a movie. I think most of EDC students know this.
I suggest you that you watch the movie before you read this book because Dead Man's Chest is the second series.

a cappella stage

Hello everyone. I’m Miharu from EDC3.
Today I went to Shimizu to sing a cappella. There is a cappella concert named “Yokochou-live”. Many a cappella groups showed powerful stage. It is very interesting and this stage gave very good experience to me. Also there is professional group. I could get good influence in this stage. My group is mixed chorus. In this group, there are my senior and Shizuoka campus’s a cappella people. We could only 5 min but we could really enjoy and people enjoyed our stage so I was so happy about that. Today was really hot day so it was hard to sing there. However I could forget these things because this stage was really fun. My friends and senior came to see the stage so I could sing without nervous. I could communicate with these people. I spend really good time today.

Hamamatsu International Mosaiculture 2009

Hi everyone! This is Keiko from EDC1.

How are you going today?

Last week, I went to Hamamatsu international mosaiculture as a volunteer.

It was first experience for me to work as a volunteer.

I worked at the entrance and I handed pamphlets people who visited mosiculture.

The work was not very hard but sometimes groups of tourists came at the same time so I should have handed so fast!

People who worked with were all elderly so it was good to have a chance to talk with elderly people.

When I took a break, I could walk around and see some pretty works.

There were some works exhibited from other countries like Canada, Korea and China.

They were very pretty looking and I liked them.
I was lucky to see them for free! ;)

I worked for seven hours in the outside so I was tired but I enjoyed working as a volunteer and it was very good experience.

Computer change life, business and human. In case of electronic mail, it is more easy than sending letters. It means that we can get more time. Hello everyone. This is Yuka from EDC 1.
I went to UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN with my friend. Although a bus tour was cheaper, we took the Shinkansen. Because I like the Shinkansen.^^ It was very comfortable and fast.

USJ was crowded than I thought, but we rode almost all attraction. Especially, we enjoyed SPIDER-MAN-THE RIDE two times! We could rode smoothly during the night parade.

My recommended points of USJ is wonderful musical. If you have a 1 day passport, you could see the fantastic musical or live for free. I want want want to go again!!!

Traveling Yokohama

How're going today?
I had a opportunity to visit to Yokohama last week. It was so crowded that I could hardly go forward in China town because of "Silver week."
I went there with seminar students and the professor Sugiura.
We went around here, and found a restaurant that we had lunch at. I didn't realize the restaurant was so famous until I saw a long line people made.
Fortunately, we made a reservation for lunch, we didn't have to be in the long line. It was really delicious, what's more, reasonable! Try it!

Disneyland's halloween!!

I went to Tokyo Disneyland with my friends.
Now halloween's events are held at tokyo disneyland and sea. Disneyland's halloween is very very cute!! Parades change halloween version. And There are many mickey, minnie and pooh's pumpkin.

We went to disneyland before a day of silver week. So it was not so crowded and we enjoyed disneyland. And the day is my friend's birthday! So we get a birthday 's seal and put it to her. So she was said to many people "Happy birthday!!". And we gave a halloween' mickey stuffed toy. She looked so happy and said " today is very happy day!" , so we were very happy.

Yesterday, I went to SOHGOH driving school, because my friend graduated there in this summer.

Besides, she has teacher who likes in there.
However, he is not there. He might take a holiday.
We were shocked that we could not meet him.

After that, we went to Hamamatsu Plaza to do shopping and playing game.

At the night, we go to shop of Korean food.
We eat Bibimbap(?) in there.
It is so delicious, but not so hot.
